The game between second ranked Esperides (12-3) and eighth ranked Kronos AD (6-9) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Esperides was defeated by Kronos AD in Kronos 53-67. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Esperides. The game was mostly controlled by Kronos AD. Esperides managed to win third quarter 15-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. It was a good game for forward Maria Zikiridou (187-F-83) who led her team to a victory with 8 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Maria Xanthou (185-F-82) contributed with 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American center Latoya Williams (193-87, college: Chipola JC) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds for Esperides. Esperides' coach Giorgos Leivadis rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Kronos AD maintains eighth place with 6-9 record. Esperides at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Kronos AD are looking forward to face higher ranked DAS Ano Liosa (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Esperides will play against FEA Neas (#6) in Halkidon and is hoping to win this game.

Lolita Lymoura helped adding 15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The best for the losing side was American guard Quenese Davis (178-88, college: San Diego St.) with 11 points. Undefeated Athinaikos have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 15-0 record. PAOK lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Aris. Athinaikos will play against Apollon Kal. (#11) in Kalamarias in the next round and are hoping to win another game. PAOK will play on the road against Panionios in Athens and hopes to get back on the winning track.

In the last two games of round 15 Panionios beat Aris on the road 55-42. Apollon Kal. lost to DAS Ano Liosa on its own court 53-61.
The most impressive performance of 15th round was 21 points and 12 rebounds by Peli Papamichail of Panionios.


PAOK - Athinaikos 52-62
A1 top team - Athinaikos (15-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat tenth ranked PAOK (4-11) in Thessaloniki 62-52. The game was mostly controlled by Athinaikos. PAOK was better in third quarter 15-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. No shocking result in a game when third ranked Panionios (10-5) beat 9th ranked Aris (4-11) in Thessaloniki 55-42 on Sunday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Panionios dominated on the defensive end, holding Aris to just 5 points in third quarter. They also forced 19 Aris turnovers and had a 35-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for international power forward Peli Papamichail (189-86, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Bulgarian center Lydia Milkova (192-70) accounted for 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Center Fedra Skiadopoulou (191-90) came up with 12 points and 9 rebounds and the former international power forward Evangelia Kotopodi (188-87) added 4 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Aris in the defeat. Panionios maintains third place with 10-5 record having five points less than leader Athinaikos. Aris lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 11 games lost. They share it with PAOK. Panionios will meet at home PAOK (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Aris will play against Panathinaikos in Athens and hope to secure a win.

Very expected game when 11th ranked Apollon Kal. (2-13) lost to seventh ranked DAS Ano Liosa (8-7) in Kalamarias 53-61 on Saturday. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 17-6. But Apollon Kal. won second period 23-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. DAS Ano Liosa dominated on the defensive end, holding Apollon Kal. to just 6 points in first quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Apollon Kal.'s 24. DAS Ano Liosa forced 19 Apollon Kal. turnovers and outrebounded them 38-25 including 29 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Collen Planeta (188-88, college: Point Loma) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Aspasia Kalabakou (178-93) accounted for 16 points for the winning side. DAS Ano Liosa's coach Aggelos Giannoulakis used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Vera Bustos (172-89, college: Adams St.) came up with 13 points and 5 rebounds and Manto Psichogiou added 20 points respectively for Apollon Kal. in the defeat. PAOK Thessalonikis (A1) inked 25-year old American center Ondrea Shaw (193-91, college: E.Carolina). She played in the summer at SC Rip in Australian QBL. In 17 games she recorded 6.9ppg, 8.8rpg, 1.0apg and 2.6bpg. Among other achievements Shaw's team made it to the AAC Tournament Semifinals in 2015.
