We bring you last week's top performances from Greeks who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an international center Ioannis Bourousis (212-83, agency: FCM). He was the major contributor in a Armani Milano's victory against the tenth-ranked Lottomatica Roma (13-17) 91-78 in the Italian SerieA in Wednesday night's game. Bourousis recorded 19 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 20 minutes on the court. EA7 Emporio Armani Milano (19-10) is placed third in the SerieA. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Bourousis has relatively good stats this year: 12.0ppg, 6.6rpg, 1.1apg, 2FGP: 60.8%(101-166), 3FGP: 43.5% and FT: 74.3% in the 28 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Greek senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international center Kostas Koufos (213-89, college: Ohio St.), who plays in the NBA. Koufos could not help the Denver Nuggets (36-28) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his good performance the Denver Nuggets were defeated 104-98 on the road by the Los Angeles Clippers. Koufos recorded 12 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks. There are only two games left until the end of the NBA Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Koufos' first season with the team. This year he averages: 5.5ppg, 5.2rpg, 2FGP: 60.1%(110-183) and FT: 60.4%. Koufos is a naturalized American. Despite he played previously for the USA national team, Koufos is currently a member of the Greek senior national team. Strangely he has never played in Greece.

   #3. The Greek player who performed third best last week abroad was an international forward Antonis Fotsis (210-81) is a teammate of previously mentioned Ioannis Bourousis. But that was another game of his team in Italian SerieA which we would like to mention. Fotsis led Armani Milano to a victory against the 11th-ranked Air Avellino (13-17) 90-77. He scored 17 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 29 minutes. EA7 Emporio Armani Milano (19-10) is placed third in the SerieA. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. This year Fotsis' overall stats are: 9.6ppg, 4.7rpg, 2FGP: 63.8%(60-94), 3FGP: 44.3% and FT: 78.4% in the 29 games. Despite he played previously for the USA national team, Fotsis is currently a member of the Greek senior national team.

   #4. Guard Sten-Timmu Sokk (181-89) led Tartu Ulikool to a victory over the closely-ranked Rapla (14-14) 81-72 in the Estonian KML in Wednesday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Sokk scored 27 points (!!!), grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Tartu Ulikool (25-3) is placed first in the KML. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Sokk is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Tartu Ulikool's roster. He is currently third on the league's list of best passers. Sokk's total stats this season are: 9.7ppg, 1.9rpg and 4.1apg. He has a dual citizenship: Greek and Estonian. Despite Sokk played previously for the Estonian national team, he is currently in the Greek national team roster.

   #5. International guard Nikolaos Zisis (197-83) contributed to an easy victory against the 13th-ranked Benetton Treviso (12-17) crushing them 90-67 in the Italian SerieA last Sunday. Zisis scored 10 points (went 6 for 6 at the free throw line) in 20 minutes. Montepaschi Siena (21-7) is placed first in the SerieA. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. This year Zisis' total stats are: 5.8ppg, 2.1rpg and 2.7apg in the 27 games. Despite he played previously for the Estonian national team, Zisis is currently in the Greek national team roster.

   #6. Center Sofoklis Schortsanitis (206-85) contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Ironi Ashkelon (10-15) 88-69 in the Israeli Premier League on Thursday night. He scored 8 points, had 6 rebounds and made 2 blocks. Maccabi Electra Tel-Aviv (23-2) is placed first in the Premier League. It was his team's 11th consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. Schortsanitis has averaged so far 9.1ppg and 4.3rpg. Despite he played previously for the Estonian national team, Schortsanitis is also an international player who is currently on the senior Greek National Team roster.

International center Dimitrios Mavroeidis (208-85, also represented by FCM) contributed to a Gescrap BB's victory against the ninth-ranked CAI Zaragoza (15-16) 68-57 in the Spanish ACB in Wednesday night's game. He recorded 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 18 minutes. Gescrap Bizkaia Bilbao Basket (18-13) is placed fifth in the ACB. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. Mavroeidis has averaged so far 3.8ppg and 3.7rpg in the 26 games. Despite he played previously for the Estonian national team, Mavroeidis is currently in the Greek national team roster.

   #8. Power forward Savvas Manousos (208-85) was not able to help NH Ostrava (26-14) in their game against BK Prostejov (25-11) in the Czech Republic NBL. Despite his very good performance last Friday He recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 13 rebounds. Manousos also added 4 assists. Manousos has averaged so far 9.4ppg and 6.4rpg. Despite he played previously for the Estonian national team, Manousos is currently in the Greek U16 national team roster.

International swingman Michael Bramos (196-87, college: Miami, OH) was not able to secure a victory for Gran Canaria 2014 (12-19) in their game against Blusens Monbus (11-20) in the Spanish ACB, despite his very good performance on Saturday night. He was the top scorer with 13 points. Bramos also added 4 rebounds in 29 minutes. But Gran Canaria 2014 was badly defeated 65-45 in Santoago de Comp by the lower-ranked (#16) Blusens Monbus. It was Gran Canaria 2014's fourth consecutive loss in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. Bramos has averaged so far 9.0ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.3apg in the 31 games. Despite he played previously for the Estonian national team, Bramos is currently in the Greek national team roster.

   #10. Center Alexey Savrasenko (215-79) helped Unics Kazan win their game against the closely-ranked Krasnie Krilya (7-11) 84-68 in the Russian PBL in Tuesday night's game. He scored 9 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Unics Kazan (8-10) is placed sixth in the PBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. Savrasenko has averaged so far 5.4ppg and 4.1rpg. Despite he played previously for the Russian national team, Savrasenko is also an international player who is currently on the senior Greek National Team roster.

   #11. Former international point guard Theodoros Papaloukas (200-77, another player represented by FCM) is a teammate of previously mentioned Sofoklis Schortsanitis and both played together in the last Israeli Premier League game. Papaloukas managed to help Maccabi Electra Tel-Aviv in a victory against the eighth-ranked Ironi Ashkelon 88-69. He scored only 2 points and added 6 assists in 20 minutes. Papaloukas has averaged so far 5.0ppg, 2.1rpg and 5.5apg in the eight games. He used to play for the Greek national team four years ago.

   #12. International swingman Kostas Vasiliadis (200-84, another player represented by FCM) is a teammate of previously mentioned Dimitrios Mavroeidis and both played together in the last Spanish ACB game. Vasiliadis helped Gescrap BB win their game against the ninth-ranked CAI Zaragoza 68-57. He recorded 6 points. This season Vasiliadis has relatively solid stats: 11.2ppg and 2.4rpg. Despite he played previously for the Russian national team, Vasiliadis is currently in the Greek national team roster.

   #13. Former international power forward Dimitris Haritopoulos (206-83, agency: Interperformances) couldn't help ASVEL in their game against Poitiers in the French ProA, despite his good performance in Saturday night's game. He scored 11 points in 24 minutes. But his team lost 62-73. Haritopoulos has averaged so far 7.8ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.3apg in the 11 games. Despite he played previously for the Russian national team, Haritopoulos is currently in the Greek national team roster.

   #14. Former international center Mihalis Kakiouzis (206-76, another player represented by Interperformances) faced previously mentioned Ioannis Bourousis in the Italian SerieA last game. Kakiouzis couldn't help Lottomatica Roma in their game against Armani Milano. Despite his good performance last Wednesday He recorded 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Kakiouzis has averaged so far 8.3ppg and 4.3rpg. Despite he played previously for the Russian national team, Kakiouzis is currently in the Greek national team roster.

   #15. Former U18 international forward Fotios Lampropoulos (206-83) helped Canarias win their game against the 15th-ranked Lobe Huesca crushing them 92-55 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) on Friday night. He scored 12 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 33 minutes. Lampropoulos has averaged so far 7.4ppg and 3.9rpg in the 33 games. Despite he played previously for the Russian national team, Lampropoulos is currently in the Greek U18 national team roster.

CEZ Basketball Nymburk (NBL) agreed terms with 27-year old American power forward Kenny Hall (206-104kg-90, college: Tennessee). He started the season at ASA Koroivos Amaliadas in Greek A1 league. In 18 games he averaged 13.4ppg and 6.7rpg, while shooting 60.1% from the field and 54.5% from the line. Three years ago (a year after he left the college) Hall was drafted by the Delaware 87ers (D-League) in fourth round (55th overall).
