Thanasis
Papahatzis
Transfer news
Vasilis Fragias and Kolossos Rodou split ways. The new head coach of Kolossos Rodou is the Greek Coach Thanasis Papahatzis . Papahatzis was the assistant Coach of Malkovic in Lokomotiv Kuban the season 2011-2012.
Head Coach
Giorgos Bartzokas who just sign a two years contract with Olympiakos Piraeus is expected to bring to the team of Olympiakos at least three players who used to play for Panionios with the first one being Vladimir Jankovic (202-F-90) who's already be seen in the Piraeus's team head quarters signing his new contract. The other player is expected to be Vasileios Kavvadas (205-F/C-91). At the same time Printezis is officially a player of Olympiakos as he agreed financial terms and renewed his contract even though he had much better offers from a number of European clubs.
Kostas Kaimakoglou (206-C/F-83) and Panathinaikos split ways as the international forward preferred the Russian money which was much bigger than the renewed offer by Greens. Kaimakoglou is expected to sign his contract with Unics Kazan in the next couple of days. His contract will be for two years and will worth around two million euros.
Konstantinos Missas is the new Technical advisor as he signed a two years contract in Ikaros Kallitheas and will be assisting and advising in all matter the Greek Head Coach Dimitris Priftis
Brent Petway (204-F-85, college: Michigan) is officially AGOR's player as he signed his new contract with the Cretans and will be wearing the islanders jersey for another one year
Nikolas Pievalitsa (198-G-94) signed his first proffesional contract with the team of Kavala. The young forward was among the top men in the Junior competitions.

Behind the scene news
Panathinaikos according to a number of Greek and Chinese Media, is in extended discussions with a Chinese international player who is currently with his National team and will be playing in London's Olympic Games. The two names which were registered as 'more valid' than others are Jianlian Yi (213-F/C-87) ex player of Dallas Mavericks and/or Sun Yue (206-G/F-85) ex player of New York Knicks. At the same time, the Greens seems to be quite close to Haralampos Giannopoulos (206-F-89), a player who is very well known to the new Head Coach of Panathinaikos, Argiris Pedoulakis .

Some other rumors brings Cedric Simmons (206-F/C-86, college: N.Carolina St.) and Sotiris Karapostolou (194-G-78, college: S.New Hampshire) in Kavala on a yearly contract.
