Panathinaikos verbally agrees with Cedric Simmons, plan B for Lasme - Jul 24, 2012

Panathinaikos verbally agreed a deal with Cedric Simmons (206-F/C-86, college: N.Carolina St.), according to Gazzetta.gr. Reportedly, the Greens will sign Simmons very soon is they don't get Stephane Lasme (203-F-82, college: Massachusetts).
Cedric Simmons played last season for Estudiantes. He appeared 30 times in Liga Endesa averaging 5.7 points and 3.9 rebounds. Simmons played for Kavala in 2010/11. He was the top rebounder of A1 with 10 rpg for 28 games. The player also added 12 ppg and was second shot blocker of the competition with 1.8 bpg. Simmons finished 2009/10 season with Kavala as well. In the past, he played for the NBA teams Chicago Bulls, Sacramento Kings and New Orleans Hornets. A year ago Cedric Simmons received Bulgarian citizenship.
