PAOK - Kronos AD 73-45

The game was mostly controlled by PAOK. Kronos AD managed to win second period 13-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Kronos AD to just 5 points in first quarter. PAOK dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Kronos AD's 24. PAOK forced 20 Kronos AD turnovers. Forward Maria Avtzi (173) orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. point guard Anna Stamolamprou (171-95) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Five PAOK players scored in double figures. PAOK's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Whitney Hanley (172, college: Austin Peay St.) replied with 17 points and Anastasia Gotzi added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for Kronos AD.

Panionios - Terpsithea 38-73

Terpsithea led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 22-of-27 charity shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Terpsithea forced 31 Panionios turnovers and outrebounded them 43-22 including a 16-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Panionios' players. American guard Brittany Johnson (180-89, college: Ohio St.) scored 23 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and guard Alexia Botsari (175-83) chipped in 4 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Forward Zafiria Giabani (185-92) responded with 23 points and 6 rebounds and forward Pashalia Tziata (184-82) scored 5 points and 5 rebounds.

Panathinaikos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding GAC Eunikos to just 6 points in third quarter. Panathinaikos dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to GAC Eunikos' 22. Panathinaikos forced 29 GAC Eunikos turnovers and outrebounded them 37-26 including a 22-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. International forward Ioanna Diela (175-90) notched 17 points to lead the effort and guard Aristea Maglara (168-83) supported her with 13 points and 4 assists. Four Panathinaikos players scored in double figures. Even 18 points by guard Stefania Sideri (178-94) did not help to save the game for GAC Eunikos. AO Ellinikou led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Olympiakos' 28. They outrebounded Olympiakos 32-20 including 23 on the defensive glass. American forward Breanna Brock (187-90, college: Missouri) notched 24 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and the former international guard Tania Chalivera (178-85) supported her with 6 points. AO Ellinikou's coach Eleni Kapogianni felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 19 points and 5 rebounds by the former international forward Niki Zerva (183-79) did not help to save the game for Olympiakos. Guard Rafaela Soultani (172-91) added 11 points and 4 assists for the hosts. Newly promoted AO Ellinikou maintains first position with 2-0 record, which they share with 4 other teams.

The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The former international guard Lolita Lymoura (180-85, agency: LBM Management) notched 19 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and the former international power forward Afroditi Kosma (187-83) supported her with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Four Athinaikos players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 26 points and 12 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) by American center Jasmine Erving (187-90, college: CS Northridge) did not help to save the game for Ikaros Kalitheas. The former international guard Theoni Tzegianaki (162-85) added 17 points and 8 assists for the hosts. Ikaros Kalitheas' coach Giorgos Leivadis rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win.

The game was mostly controlled by Asteras. Aris managed to win third quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Asteras forced 21 Aris turnovers and outrebounded them 34-21 including 22 on the defensive glass. American forward Katerina Deli (168, college: Scranton) notched 24 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and center Katerina Glyniadaki (196-86, college: Cal-Riverside) supported her with 13 points and 6 rebounds. Even 19 points (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) by guard Niki Hatzakou (175-82) did not help to save the game for Aris. Guard Roula Mouli (177-85) added 10 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Aris' coach Miltiadis Miliotis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
