Kostas
Totsios
After the end of teh 5th week of the amazing A2 Greek league, only AE Nea Kiffisias is the unbeaten team since Filathlitkos lost in details the game against Irakleio, while the top seated Kifisia beat quite easily Doxa Lefkadas. In the other match of the 5th week we had the easy victories of IKoroivos Amaliadas, karoi Serron, Lavrio, Trikala and Pagrati (its first victory after three concecutive loses) while the only derby of this weeks games was teh game between Irakleio and Filathlitikos which ended in the minimum. The games in more details were as folos:

Irakleio - Filathlitikos 74-73
Quarters: 12-18, 32-39, 55-56, 74-73
A great game took place in Crete where the home team of Coach Rallis performed (probably) its best game since the beggining and with Antonis Godopoulos (185-G-81) and Agapiadis in a great shapethey finally won this great derby and breath deeply with Kotoulas being from fatal (he missed both his free throws at the end with 8 seconds to go) the messiah since he dashed down the rebound of his own missed free throw
Irakleio: Antonis Godopoulos 24, Agapiadis 17, Sakelarakis 12
Filathlitikos: Thanasis Adedokubo 10, Christos Saloustros (201-F-90) 16,Georgiadis 13, Gikas 12

Nea Kifisia - Doxa Lefkadas 65-59
Quarters: 19-10, 38-24, 53-35, 65-59
An easy win for Coach Papatheodorou team took place in Kifisia no matter the final score since at the end, the home team simply stopped playing and the deficit from -20 for the visitors went to just 6!
Kifisia: Moshovitis 12, Karaboulas 14, Yiannis Psathas (201-F-83) 16, Petrodimopoulos 11
Doxa: Orestis Matenidis (190-G-87) 12, Manousos 10, Matic 11

Iakroi Serron - Niki Volou 71-55
Periods: 19-11, 39-23, 54-44, 71-55
Ikaroi Serron face no problem against the team of Coach Zafiroudis, Niki Volou and with top perfomer Kostas Totsios (191-G-78) scoring 27 points with 5 of 7 three pointers succeeded an easy victory
Ikaroi: Pehlivanis 10, Kostas Totsios 27, Nikoloudis 12
Niki: Koutinas 13, Giannis Maltesios (206-C-85) 15

Trikala - Arkadikos 72-56
Periods: 20-11, 39-23, 58-33, 72-56
No problem with Coach Tzimas team who took a deficit as high as +30 in the game. There was an obvious difference in the two teams since the two Bosman of the visitors were ina bad shape and Gizogiannis too.
Trikala: Katsares 10, Nikos Tsoutsos (202-F-82) 15, Aggelakopoulos 11, Papachristos 13
Arkadikos: Thodoris Tsiotras (198-G-87) 19, Govas 11

Pagrati - OFI 79-69
Periods: 24-18, 48-36, 64-53, 79-69
At last! A win for PAgrati of Coach Liogas, the home team of Pagrati beat OFI with Vangelis Vaggelis Sklavos (202-F-77) being the top man of the game as the veteran power forward was the stepping stone of the victory for his team and together with Vranjes never let the initiatives and the leadership for their opponents.
Pagrati: Vassilopoulos 11, Fotiou 14, Vaggelis Sklavos and Vranjes 19 per head
OFI: Tassos Traianos (195-F/G-87) 17, Kitsoulis 14, Balafas 10, Dojcinov 11

Lavrio - Agia Paraskevi 81-71
Periods : 23-12, 42-35, 51-56, 81-71
The return of Nikos Psileas (200-F-80) in the court where he played for 6 years was not succesfull for the experienced forward since his team suffered his 5th continouous negative result and is remaing at the bottom of the table. Probably Nikos Psileas is wonderign why he left from the "safety" of LAvrio... Never the less, with a great 4th period for Lavrio where it aoutscored the team of Coaches Hatzipanigiris and Didahos by 30-15! The team of Coach Serelis succeeded its 4th victory and is currently at the 2nd place of the table with a 4-1 .
Lavrio: Giannis Kakiouzis (205-F-78) 23, Limperopoulos 12, Psomaderis 14, Giannakopoulos 16
KAP: Nikos Psileas 22, Vardavas 11

Koroivos Amaliadas - Ermis Lagkada 87-71
Periods: 26-21, 49-39, 68- 57, 87-71
The team of Coach Nipergialis with a Sakis Athanasios Karydas (182-G-79) remembering his old times in the A1 courts succeeded an easy win over Ermis Lagkada without facing any real problems even though the duet of Giorgos Anagnostopoulos (207-C-80) and Georgitsis gave their best for the victory.
Koroivos: Athanasios Karydas 25, Noeas 16, Gkeros 14, Antoniadis 10, Tsocic 13
Ermis: Giorgos Anagnostopoulos 18, Georgitsis 17, Onasoglou 11
