Koroivos Amaliadas was the winner of the major derby in the 8th week for the A2 league as Coach Nipergialis troops beat Ikaroi Serron with 68-64 in a game which the first 32 minutes the home team domianted in all edges with the difference going up to +20 (49-29 at 23). The visitors reacted in the last period and with an amazing 1-16 cut the deficit to just three points and the last minute was quite dramatic with the home team finally winning the game.
With Nikos Nikos Katsares (190-G-83) being the man of the match, Trikala succeeded a gread road win in Lagkadas after beatingthe home team of Ermis with 84-82, with the the LAgkada people and management complained for the last scene of the game as Nikos Katsares according to them had a false ball (steps) Ermis had the initiatives with Giorgos Giorgos Anagnostopoulos (207-C-80) scoring from allover (he end the game with 30 points) Trikala though speed up at the end and with a crucial 8-0 took the game. Nea Kifisia is keep continuing its unbeaten record after thrashing Irakleio with 79-42. Agia Paraskevi continue its winning stake after last week's initial win, this time it was OFI to suffer the home team in a closed game which ended with 85-8
Pagrati succeeded a crucial road win over Doxa LEfkadas of the newcomer Head Coach Dimitris Papadopoulos with 72-73 even if the Lefkada players controling the game and had the initiative PAgrati did an amazing comeback at the end and with a three pointer by Fotiou ended the game with a road win. Filathlitikos took another road win, this time against Arkadikos with 81-88. Takis Zivas team started the game quite strongly getting a serious difference from the start with 26-17, this score minute by minute was increasing and for most of the game the difference was in double digits. Arkadikso did his coemback and reshaped the score from 64-81 to 81-88 which was the final one.

Finally, Lavrio added another road win, this time over Niki Volou in Volos with 67-74 since the home team of Coach Zafeiroudis team was amazingly bad from the charity line and even though they could win the game at the end the psychology and the charity line's low percentage gave teh victory to Lavrio

Peristeri GS Athens (B) inked 31-year old naturalized Serbian guard Igor Milosevic (193-86). He played most recently at Holargos B.C. in Greek A2 league, but left. In 22 games he recorded very impressive stats: 15.4ppg, 3.5rpg, 5.1apg and 1.3spg last season. B will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
