Here is the weekly review of the top performing Greek players, who play currently abroad.

Evanthia Maltsi
Evanthia Maltsi
#1. This week's number one is an experienced international forward Evanthia Maltsi (180-78, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Eurocup). She led her Turkish team Kayseri to a victory over the closely-ranked Mersin (5-1) 91-87 in the Eurocup in Wednesday night's game. Maltsi was MVP of the game. She recorded 21 points and added 3 assists in 35 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group E. Pankup TED Kayseri Kolejspor (3-1) is placed first. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. Maltsi is currently second on the league's list of top scorers and also on the list of most steals (fifth place). She has individually a very good year with high stats. Maltsi averages: 23.2ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.8apg, 2.8spg, 2FGP: 49.0% in the five games she played so far. She is currently a member of the Greek senior national team.

Stefanie Murphy
Stefanie Murphy
#2. Second place goes to former international power forward Stefanie Murphy (192-89, college: Boston Coll., currently plays in Eurocup). Murphy contributed to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Young Cats (1-5) crushing them 100-79 in the Eurocup last Wednesday. She scored 19 points and grabbed 8 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Murphy's second season in pro basketball. Union Saint-Amand Porte du Hainaut (5-1) is placed first in group B. There are only two games left until the end of the Eurocup Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Murphy's first year with the team. She has relatively good stats this season: 13.0ppg, 7.8rpg, 1.5apg, 2FGP: 55.6%(35-63) and FT: 61.5%. Murphy is a naturalized American. She played for the Greek national team in 2010. Strangely Murphy has never played in Greece.

Styliani Kaltsidou

Cercle Jean Mace Bourges (5-1) is placed second in group A. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Kaltsidou has been at the team for four years. This season her overall stats are: 4.5ppg, 3.0rpg, 2FGP: 28.6%, 3FGP: 33.3% in the two games. Kaltsidou played for the Greek national team one years ago.

Papamichail had a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 12 rebounds in 33 minutes. Passalacqua Spedizioni Ragusa (10-0) is placed first in South group. So far her team won all ten games in the Regular Season. It's Papamichail's first season with the team. This year she has relatively solid stats: 12.7ppg, 9.6rpg and 1.3spg in the 10 games. Caja Rural was defeated 81-69 on the road by the one of league's weakest teams Conquero (#10). They ended the series of three consecutive victories. Chatzinikolaou's total stats this season are: 9.0ppg, 6.1rpg, 2.9apg and 1.9spg. She is an international player who is currently on the senior Greek National Team roster.
