There are no unbeaten teams in the A2 as after the tonight's results as AE Nea Kiffisia lost its record (8-1 is now) since the team of Ikaroi Serron and precisely the three pointer in the extra time of the young and talented Dionysios Kapiniaris stopped this record with an amazing way. The final score was 76-74 in the overtime with the regular time ending with 67-67.
In the other game we had the "war in Crete" between Irakleion and OFI with the home team of Coach Rallis finally winning the game in the extra time with 97-94 in an absolute offensive game from both teams with the game ending in the regular time 86-86 and
Bojan Pelkic (206-F-83) being the man of the week as not only he scored 36 points against its rivals but he had 11 rebounds,2 assists and 10 winning fouls in 43 (nearly) minutes in the court, on the other hand, Vassilis Vassilis Kitsoulis (204-F-83) 30 points were not enough for OFI which is now having serious troubles in the division. In the other games we had the continuation of the winning stake for Agia Paraskevi since Coach Hatzipanigiris won this time the team of Arkadikos and Coach Kastritis with 84-77, Trikalla BC beat Koroivos Amaliadas with 90-81 in another offensive game with Giannis Papachristos (194-F-80) being the top scorer and the MVP of the game while on behalf of Koroivos the 26 points of the experienced guard Sakis Karydas were not enough for his team to beat the solid game by Trikalla with the six players in double digits. Filathlitikos thrashed the team of Niki Volou with 92-67 in show by the another talented player, the 17 years old shooting guard Arthur Pervy (200-F-95) scored 15 points with 5 of 5 three pointers in just 18 minutes!!. In the other two games we had two easy victories the one of Lavrio over Doxa Lefkadas with 80-65 and the victory of Pagrati over Ermis Lagkada with 76-54.

Giannis Antetokounmpo's 30 points make him top Greek player abroad of the week - 3 days ago
We bring you last week's top performances from Greeks who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level. This week's number one is an international swingman Giannis Antetokounmpo (211-94, agency: Octagon Europe). He could not help the Milwaukee Bucks (42-40) in their last game. Despite Antetokounmpo's very good performance the Milwaukee Bucks (42-40) were crushed 118-93 on the road by the Toronto Raptors.    [read more]
