There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with extra overtimes, derby games and games ending by tiny margin.

Let's start with guest AGOR's (#5) road victory over Ikaros (#6) 66-61 on Sunday evening. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 36-30 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Serbian guard Uros Duvnjak (190-86, agency: Beo Basket) fired 18 points for the winners. Forward Nikos Angelopoulos (205-84) chipped in 8 points and 6 rebounds. AGOR's coach Stergios Koufos used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Power forward Vassilis Symtsak (204-81) produced 17 points for lost side. AGOR maintains fifth position with 6-4 record. Ikaros at the other side keeps the sixth place with five games lost. They share the position with Apollon Patras. AGOR are looking forward to face KAOD (#10) in Dramas in the next round where they are favorite. Ikaros will play on the road against Ilysiakos (#14) in Athens and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Athens: Panathinaikos (#4) and Panionios (#2). Panathinaikos (8-2) won against visiting Panionios (8-2) 75-61. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Panionios. Worth to mention a great performance of Gabonese forward Stephane Lasme (203-82, college: Massachusetts) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Dimitris Diamantidis contributed with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. The former international guard Nikos Pappas (195-90, agency: FCM) replied with 18 points and 5 assists for Panionios. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Panathinaikos have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with PAOK and Panionios. Panathinaikos will play against Apollon Patras (#7) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Panionios will play against PAOK (#3) in Thessaloniki and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Undefeated leader Olympiacos delivered the tenth consecutive victory on Sunday night. This time they crushed 14th ranked Ilysiakos (1-9) 113-75 in Athens. Kostas Papanikolaou scored 18 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners. At the losing side Terrell Stoglin responded with 32 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated Olympiacos (10-0) have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 10 victories in a row. Ilysiakos lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with nine games lost. Olympiacos will meet Panelefsiniakos (#12) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Ilysiakos will play against Ikaros in Kalitheas.

Peristeri GS's next round opponent will be Aris (#11) in Thessaloniki.
The game in Patra was also quite interesting. Second ranked Panionios (8-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Apollon Patras (5-5). Panionios managed to secure a 6-point victory 99-93 on Sunday.
