Here is the weekly review of the top performing Greek players, who play currently abroad.

Evanthia Maltsi
Evanthia Maltsi
#1. This week's number one is an experienced international forward Evanthia Maltsi (180-78, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TKBL. She could not help one of league's weakest teams Kayseri (8-3) in their last game. Despite Maltsi's very good performance Kayseri lost 63-74 at home to the higher-ranked (#3) Tarsus Bld. She was the second best scorer with 18 points. Maltsi also added 6 rebounds in 30 minutes on the court. Maltsi is ranked sixth on the list of the best passers in the league with 4.2apg. She also averaged so far 15.2ppg, 3.6rpg, 2.0spg, 2FGP: 51.9%, 3FGP: 38.2% and FT: 88.9% in the 11 games she played so far. Maltsi is currently a member of the Greek senior national team.

Peli Papamichail
Peli Papamichail
#2. Second place goes to an international power forward Peli Papamichail (189-86, also represented by Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Italy). She led Ragusa to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked S. La Spezia (8-4) crushing them 73-51 in the Italian A2 (12th division) last Saturday. Papamichail recorded 15 points and grabbed 9 rebounds (made all of her eleven free throws !!!). Passalacqua Spedizioni Ragusa (12-0) is placed first in South group. So far her team won all twelve games in the Regular Season. Papamichail has relatively good stats this season: 13.5ppg, 9.5rpg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 59.4%(60-101) and FT: 87.5%. She is in the roster of the Greek senior national team.

Stefanie Murphy
Stefanie Murphy
#3. The Greek player who performed third best last week abroad was former international power forward Stefanie Murphy (192-89, college: Boston Coll., currently plays in France). Murphy contributed to an Union Hainaut's victory against the ninth-ranked Mondeville (6-8) 62-57 in the French LFB on Wednesday night. She scored 8 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 40 minutes. Union Saint-Amand Porte du Hainaut (3-11) is located at the very bottom in the LFB. It's Murphy's first season with the team. Murphy is currently sixth on the list of best rebounders with 7.6rpg. This year her other stats are: 11.9ppg, 2FGP: 41.4%, 3FGP: 29.0% and FT: 82.1% in the 14 games. Murphy is a naturalized American. She played for the Greek national team two years ago. Strangely Murphy has never played in Greece.

Anna Spyridopoulou
Anna Spyridopoulou

One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Greek passport:
