Barcelona secured the second win in EuroLeague Top 16 round. They held off visiting Olympiacos for 2-1 record in Group F. The Reds fell at 1-2 record after the loss. Ante Tomic (217-C-87) paced the hosts with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Barcelona grabbed the lead early on. They held Olympiacos at 13 points in the first term to accumulate a 5-point lead. The Catalan team gained a 41:32 halftime lead. Olympiacos managed to slow their opponents down in the third term. The Greek side got within 8 points heading into the fourth stanza. However Ante Tomic helped the hosts to an 11-point lead at 68:57 and Barcelona never looked back en route to the victory afterwards. Pete Mickeal (199-F-78, college: Cincinnati) delivered 12 points, while Victor Sada (192-G-84), Marcelinho Huertas (191-PG-83, agency: Edge Sports) and Sarunas Jasikevicius (192-PG-76, college: Maryland) had 10 points each in the win. Georgios Printezis (206-F-85, agency: FCM) responded with 14 points for the visitors. Pero Antic (210-F-82, agency: Beo Basket) and Vassilis Spanoulis (193-G-82, agency: Beo Basket) finished with 9 points apiece for Olympiacos.

Kolossos H Hotels (A1) added to their roster 28-year old American forward Keith Wright (203-109kg-89, college: Harvard). He played last season at KIA Picanto in Filipino PBA league. Three years ago (two years after he left the college) Wright was drafted by Austin Spurs (D-League) in third round (44th overall). Greece - Georgia 71-72 Georgia surprise Greece 72-71 at the start of Acropolis Tournament in Athens. The hosts looked better in the start of the game and took a 18-8 lead after the first quarter.
