Afroditi
Kosma
Former international power forward Afroditi Kosma (187-F/C-83) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's second-best Athinaikos and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 29-year old power forward had a double-double of 20 points and fourteen rebounds, while her team crushed Ikaros Kalitheas (#6, 6-7) with 17-point margin 70-53. Athinaikos is placed at 2nd position in Greek A1. Athinaikos has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 12-1. Kosma turned to be Athinaikos' top player in her first season with the team. Kosma has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (6th best: 16.1ppg), rebounds (7th best: 8.9rpg) and averages solid 52.0% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 27-year old guard Roula Mouli (177-G-85) of Aris. Mouli impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds. Of course Aris cruised to a 73-61 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Asteras (#8, 5-8). This victory allowed Aris to move up to 5th position in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-7 record. Mouli is one of the most experienced players at Aris and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Theodora Panteli (183-F-87) of Asteras (#8). Panteli scored 15 points and grabbed sixteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Panteli's great performance Asteras lost 61-73 to the higher-ranked Aris (#5, 6-7). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Asteras not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 8 games, recording just five victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Panteli could try to bring Asteras' a little bit higher in the standings. Panteli has a very solid season. In 13 games in Greece she scored 8.8ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Zafiria Giabani (185-F-92) of Panionios - 20 points, 14 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Alexia Botsari (175-G-83) of Terpsithea - 2 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists
6. Tania Chalivera (178-G-85) of AO Ellinikou - 9 points and 10 rebounds
7. Jasmine Erving (187-C-90) of Ikaros Kalitheas - 19 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Caila Desroches (193-C) of PAOK - 16 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Nena Nikolaidou (190-C/F-79) of Kronos AD - 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Niki Hatzakou (175-G-82) of Aris - 23 points

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
