Giannis
Papachristos
An amazing game by the duet Giannis Papachristos (194-F-80) and Nikos Kaklamanos (189-G-81, agency: FCM) proved the old saying that its very good to be young but is even better to be mature, in this case the mature and veteran players of Coach Tzimas thrashed the younster and energetic players of Coach Zivas and the team of Filathlitikos fell to the second place of the league..The team of Filathlitikos was in teh worst feasible day since the behind the arc shots and even worst the two pointers, which used to be one of their top tools in the previous games, tonight they simply betray them since the 14/42 in the two point shots and 7/31 in the three pointers!
Pagrati beat easily the team of Lavrio as Coach Serelis for another one week had more or less three players in his injury list one of them being the top performer of the team Kakiouzis. Pagrati dominated in the rebounding area and the 90-75 came obviously much easier after losing the one and only center of the team (the veteran Pashalis collapsed int eh second period). Top performer and MVP of the game was Dimos Fotiou (197-F-82) who ended up the game with 28 points and 9 rebounds followed by Sklavos who scored 23 points and dashed down 18 rebounds. On the other games, Ikaroi Serron beat very difficult the team of Agia Paraskevi in the most thrilling game of the week, with 74-73 while Doxa Lefkads beat also very difficult the team of Irakleio with the childish 48-47. Finally, Koroivos Amaliadas thrashed the team of Arkadikos with 81-59, climbing to the third place of the league. While Ermis Lgkada after many weeks without win, the team of Coach Xouridas stopped its negative series after the win over Niki Volou with 74-66.

A2: Last week and the epilogue of the division - May 29, 2016

The championship traveled to Kymi (we knew that the last two weeks) and the second place went to the almighty and undefeated at all levels (until March) Faros Keratsiniou, the Greek Cup finalist, was once more the winner as Panerythraikos was not able to cope with the experienced players of Faros. Even though Panerythraikos was the team that first beat them (in their in between game for the first round), this time had no luck as the board show 89-63 and -26 teams for the Erythrea team.
