We bring you last week's top performances from Greeks who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.
#1. This week's number one is former international forward Styliani Kaltsidou (188-83, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Euroleague). She led her French team Bourges to a victory over the seventh-ranked IMOS Brno (2-10) crushing them 85-60 in the Euroleague in Wednesday night's game.
Kaltsidou was MVP of the game. She scored 17 points and grabbed 4 rebounds (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line) in 30 minutes on the court.
Cercle Jean Mace Bourges (9-3) is placed second in group A.
It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row.
The Regular Season already ended in the Euroleague.
It's Kaltsidou's fourth season with the team.
This year Kaltsidou averages: 8.1ppg, 5.1rpg, 1.8apg, 2FGP: 36.7%, 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 81.5% in the eight games she played so far.
She played for the Greek senior national team two years ago.
#2. Second place goes to former international power forward Stefanie Murphy (192-89, college: Boston Coll., currently plays in Hungary), who plays in the Hungarian A Division. Murphy could not help Samorin (2-6) in their last game on Sunday. Despite her very good performance the sixth-placed Samorin was defeated 76-70 on the road by the higher-ranked UNI Gyor (#4) in the MEL group.
Murphy recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and getting 13 rebounds. She also added 3 assists. It was his first game for Samorin this season.
Murphy is a naturalized American.
She played for the Greek national team in 2010.
Strangely Murphy has never played in Greece.
#3. The Greek player who performed third best last week abroad was an international power forward Peli Papamichail (189-86, also represented by Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Italy). She was the main contributor in Ragusa's victory against the ninth-ranked Salerno (7-11) crushing them 72-48 in the Italian A2 (12th division) on Sunday night.
Papamichail was the best player in that game. She recorded 17 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 26 minutes.
Passalacqua Spedizioni Ragusa (17-1) is placed first in South group.
It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row.
The Regular Season already ended.
Papamichail has relatively good stats this year: 13.0ppg, 8.3rpg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 61.0%(89-146) and FT: 82.4% in the 18 games.
She is also a member of the Greek senior national team.
#4. An experienced forward Evanthia Maltsi (180-78, another player represented by Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Turkey) contributed to Kayseri's victory against the closely-ranked Galatasaray (14-3) 72-68 in the Turkish TKBL in Sunday night's game.
Maltsi recorded 6 points and added 3 passes.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Pankup TED Kayseri Kolejspor (13-3) is placed second in the TKBL.
It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row.
It's Maltsi's first season with the team.
This year she has relatively solid stats: 13.3ppg, 2.9rpg, 3.4apg and 1.7spg.
Maltsi is also Greek national team player.
#5. Former international forward Anna Spyridopoulou (184-88, currently plays in Sweden) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked 08 Stockholm (12-14) crushing them 84-43 in the Swedish Damligan last Wednesday.
She was the top player that evening. Spyridopoulou recorded 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in 24 minutes.
Solna Vikings (14-7) is placed fourth in the Damligan.
It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row.
They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical.
This year Spyridopoulou's overall stats are: 8.2ppg, 7.8rpg, 2.2apg and 1.3spg in the nine games.
She used to play for the Greek national team
two years ago.

She scored 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 28 minutes.
Caja Rural lost 65-77 at home to the higher-ranked (#3) Argon Uni Girona.
It was Caja Rural's fourth consecutive loss in a row.
This year Chatzinikolaou's total stats are: 8.2ppg, 5.8rpg, 2.2apg and 1.4spg in the 14 games.
She is an international player who is currently on the senior Greek National Team roster.
#7. International guard Nafsika Stavridou (182-86, currently plays in Sweden) contributed to an easy victory against the league leader IK Eos (13-3) crushing them 86-53 in the Swedish Damligan last Wednesday.
Stavridou recorded 7 points and added 3 passes.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Northland Basket Lulea (16-4) is placed third in the Damligan.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial.
Stavridou has averaged so far 6.0ppg, 1.8rpg, 2.4apg and 1.4spg.
She is also Greek national team player.
#8. Center Katerina Glyniadaki (196-86, college: Cal-Riverside, currently plays in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for C.U.S. Chieti (4-9) in their game against Lucca (10-3) in the Italian A1. Glyniadaki cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones.
She recorded only 3 points in 17 minutes.
C.U.S. Chieti was crushed 94-48 on the opponent's court by the second-ranked Lucca.
Glyniadaki has averaged so far 4.5ppg and 2.0rpg in the two games.
She used to play for the Greek U20 national team
back in 2006.
One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Greek passport:
