During the 16th week of the exciting A2 league, the top favorite teams won their games as the top seated team of Filathlitikos (13-3) after a short break in Trikala where they suffered their third loss in the competition continue with an easy victory over the team of Pagrati (8-8) with 87-68 while a crucial victory took place in Agia Paraskevi (8-8) with Trikala BC (12-4) continuing their successful winning stake even if played without their top performer in the victory over Filathlitikos, Papachristos who is in the injured list. The team of Lavrio (10-6) thrashed Irakleio (5-11) while AE Neas Kifisias (13-3) beat easily than it shows the team of Arkadikos (6-10) in another road win this season. Koroivos Amaliadas (11-5) also succeeded a road win with Branislav Tomic (205-F/C-80) being in a great afternoon while crucial wins we had from OFI (3-13), as the Cretans beat in a game which ended only a while ago, the team of Ikaroi Serron (10-6) with 69-66 in a game which was against all odds for the team of Coach Takianos. Last but not least, a crucial victory took place in Lefkadas as the home team of Coach Papadopoulos, Doxa Lefkadas (4-12) succeeded a positive result in a do or die game, after quite some weeks upon beating the team of Ermis Lagkada (5-11) with 73-67 in an amazing fourth period with man of the match being the newcomer Marios Matalon (187-G-89, college: Wyoming).
