Olympiacos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. Olympiacos looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. International guard Vassilis Spanoulis (193-82, agency: Beo Basket) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 5 assists. American guard Acie Law (190-85, college: Texas A&M) contributed with 10 points for the winners. American swingman Kevin Palmer (198-87, college: Texas A&M-CC) answered with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists for KAOD. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Olympiacos have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 16-1 record. KAOD lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Olympiacos' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Athens Peristeri GS.
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Apollon Patras (8-9) and Kavala (5-12), which took place in Kavala. Higher ranked Apollon Patras lost to thirteenth ranked Kavala in a road game 67-85. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Apollon Patras. American forward William Coleman (206-88, college: Memphis) stepped up and scored 35 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds for the winners and Kieron Achara chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. point guard Nikos Argyropoylos (186-78) responded with 19 points. Apollon Patras' coach Nikos Vetoulas rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Kavala moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Panathinaikos - Ikaros 97-72

Very expected game when 8th ranked Ikaros (6-11) was smashed by second ranked Panathinaikos (14-3) in Athens 97-72 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Panathinaikos. Ikaros managed to win fourth quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Panathinaikos shot 60.3 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Ikaros' players. Kolossos - Panionios 65-70

Very predictable result when third ranked Panionios (14-3) won against 9th ranked Kolossos (6-11) in Rodou 70-65 on Sunday. Kolossos was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 19-13 charge of Panionios, which allowed them to win the game. Panelefsiniakos managed to win fourth quarter 15-6. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Aris forced 22 Panelefsiniakos turnovers.
