Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Greeks who are currently playing abroad.

Styliani Kaltsidou
Styliani Kaltsidou
#1. This week's number one is former international forward Styliani Kaltsidou (188-83, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in France. She could not help Bourges (9-3) in their last game. Despite Kaltsidou's very good performance the second-placed Bourges was edged 57-54 at home by the lower-ranked (#3) Wisla Can-Pak in the group A of Euroleague. She was the top scorer with 15 points. Kaltsidou also added 5 rebounds (made all of her five free throws) in 33 minutes on the court. It's Kaltsidou's fourth season with the team. This year she averages: 8.9ppg, 5.1rpg, 1.8apg, 2FGP: 34.2%, 3FGP: 37.5% and FT: 84.4% in the nine games she played so far. Kaltsidou played for the Greek senior national team two years ago.

Zoi Dimitrakou
Zoi Dimitrakou
#2. Second place goes to former international forward Zoi Dimitrakou (188-87, also represented by Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Turkey). She was the major contributor in Kayseri's victory against the closely-ranked Botas (15-2) 79-72 in the Turkish TKBL last Wednesday. Dimitrakou scored 18 points. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Pankup TED Kayseri Kolejspor (15-4) is placed third in the TKBL. It's Dimitrakou's first season with the team. She has individually a very good year with high stats. Dimitrakou averages: 15.4ppg, 5.0rpg, 1.8apg, 1.6spg, 2FGP: 64.7%(22-34), 3FGP: 46.2%(6-13). She played for the Greek national team in 2009.

Evanthia Maltsi
Evanthia Maltsi
#3. The Greek player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced international forward Evanthia Maltsi (180-78, another player represented by Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Eurocup) is a teammate of previously mentioned Zoi Dimitrakou. But that was another game of her team in Eurocup which we would like to mention. Maltsi led her Turkish team Kayseri to a victory against the third-ranked MBK Ruzomberok (2-2) 73-65. She scored 18 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) in 24 minutes. Pankup TED Kayseri Kolejspor (3-1) is placed first in group E. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. Maltsi is currently second on the list of top scorers and also on the list of most steals (third place). She has very impressive stats this year: 19.4ppg, 2.7rpg, 2.3apg, 2.5spg, 2FGP: 44.1%, 3FGP: 46.6%(27-58) and FT: 93.9%(31-33) in the 10 games. Maltsi is also a member of the Greek senior national team.

Stefanie Murphy
Stefanie Murphy
#4. Power forward Stefanie Murphy (192-89, college: Boston Coll., currently plays in Hungary), who plays in the Hungarian A Division was not able to help Samorin (3-8) in their last game on Sunday. Despite her very good performance Samorin (#6) was defeated 76-69 on the road by the higher-ranked PEAC-PECS (#5) in the MEL group. Murphy was the second best scorer with 18 points. She also added 7 rebounds and 2 blocks. There are only four games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. This season Murphy has very high stats. She averages: 19.3ppg, 9.3rpg, 2.0apg, 1.3bpg and 2.7spg. Murphy is a naturalized American. She used to play for the Greek national team back in 2010. Strangely Murphy has never played in Greece.

Peli Papamichail
Peli Papamichail
#5. International power forward Peli Papamichail (189-86, another player represented by Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Italy) contributed to an easy victory against the 13th-ranked Consum.it Siena (0-20) crushing them 82-33 in the Italian A2 (12th division) last Saturday. She had a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 17 rebounds. Papamichail also added 2 blocks in 26 minutes. Passalacqua Spedizioni Ragusa (19-1) is placed first in South group. It was her team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended. Papamichail has relatively good stats this year: 12.8ppg, 8.8rpg and 1.3spg in the 20 games. She plays currently for the Greek national team.

Katerina Sotiriou
Katerina Sotiriou

Katerina Glyniadaki
Katerina Glyniadaki
#9. Former U20 international center Katerina Glyniadaki (196-86, college: Cal-Riverside, currently plays in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for one of league's weakest teams C.U.S. Chieti (4-11) in their game against Pall.Pozzuoli (4-10) in the Italian A1. Glyniadaki cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. She scored only 2 points. C.U.S. Chieti was defeated 65-59 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked Pall.Pozzuoli (#7). It was C.U.S. Chieti's fourth consecutive loss in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This season Glyniadaki averages just 3.8ppg. She used to play for the Greek U20 national team seven years ago.

One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Greek passport:

#1. Experienced Vicky Volonaki (179-F-80, currently plays in Sweden) contributed to an easy victory against the league leader IK Eos (14-3) 64-48 in the Swedish Damligan last Wednesday.
