The games are now more important than at the beginning of the Regular Season. We may still expect few shocking results in upcoming 4 rounds.

The game was mostly controlled by Panathinaikos. Panionios managed to win second period 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Panionios 47-19 including a 21-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. American power forward Diana Delva (188-88, college: Hartford) had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 18 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international forward Ioanna Diela (175-90) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Enisa Semaniakou (183-88) with 12 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Panathinaikos have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 17-1 record. Panionios lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 16 games lost. Panathinaikos are looking forward to face Terpsithea (#9) in Glyfadas in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Panionios will play at home against Ikaros Kalitheas in Glyfada and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
Bottom-ranked GAC Eunikos (0-18) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 18th consecutive match to fifth ranked Aris (10-8) 59-47. Even 11 points and 8 rebounds by forward Garifallia Plavoukou (185-85) did not help to save the game for GAC Eunikos. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aris maintains fifth position with 10-8 record, which they share with Ikaros Kalitheas. GAC Eunikos at the other side still closes the standings. Aris will play against Kronos AD (#7) at home in the next round.
