The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

The most exciting game of round 22 in the B League took place in Marousi. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of much higher ranked Marousi (15-7) to eleventh ranked Zografou (10-12) 74-73 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Marousi. Zografou moved-up to tenth place in South, which they share with Tritonas S. Marousi at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Zografou is looking forward to face league's leader Peristeri GS in Athens in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Marousi will play on the road against the league's second-placed Papagou having rather not much hope for a victory.
Very important is a home loss of third ranked Koropi (15-7) against eighth ranked Mandraikos (12-10) on Sunday night. Host Koropi was defeated by Mandraikos in a tough game at home 76-85. Newly promoted Mandraikos maintains eighth position in South with 12-10 record. Koropi at the other side dropped to the second place with seven games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Mandraikos will play against higher ranked Panerythraikos (#5) in New Eritrea in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Koropi will play at home against Ionikos Nikaias and hopes to get back on the winning track.
B League top team - Kastoria (21-1) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat tenth ranked Gefyra (10-12) 85-74. Kastoria have an impressive 16-game winning streak. They maintain first position in North with 21-1 record. Newly promoted Gefyra dropped to the ninth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Charilaos TM and Xanthis. Kastoria will meet at home Aias Evosmou (#16) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Gefyra will play against Periko/Arhelaos (#15) in Perikos and hope to secure a win.
B League top team - Peristeri GS (18-4) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Kronos AD (8-14) in Athens 76-57. Peristeri GS have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position in South with 18-4 record. Kronos AD at the other side keeps the twelfth place with 14 games lost. Peristeri GS's next round opponent will be Zografou (#11) and are hoping to win another game. Kronos AD will play against Panelefsiniakos and hope to win that game.
Important game to mention about took place in Nikaias. Sixth ranked Ionikos Nikaias (13-9) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 10th ranked Tritonas S. (10-12) 78-76 on Sunday evening. Ionikos Nikaias have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position in South with 13-9 record, which they share with Panelefsiniakos. Newly promoted Tritonas S. keeps the tenth place with 12 games lost. Ionikos Nikaias will face higher ranked Koropi (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Tritonas S. will play against Ergotelis (#14) and hope to win that game.

Other games in round 22 were not that significant.
In North Stratoni was beaten by Agriniou on the road 66-61. Polygirou lost to Filippos Veroias on its own court 66-69. HANTH unfortunately lost to Anatolia in a road game 77-83. Xanthis recorded a loss to Karditsas at home 64-70. Charilaos TM was defeated by Ermis Lagkada on the opponent's court 80-69. Aias Evosmou was smashed by Ermis Agias in a home game 60-83. Periko/Arhelaos lost to Evropi on the road 66-70.
In South Ergotelis unfortunately lost to Papagou on its own court 60-69. Apollon Sm. was rolled over Nea Kifisia in Athens 53-78. KAP was defeated by Panerythraikos at home 63-68. Proteas V. was beaten by Panelefsiniakos on the opponent's court 71-64.

Group North
Agriniou - Stratoni 66-61

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Agriniou (13-9) beat at home 8th ranked Stratoni (11-11) 66-61 on Sunday. Agriniou have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place in North, which they share with Evropi. Loser Stratoni keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. Agriniou will face Xanthis (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. Stratoni will play against Polygirou and hope to win that game.

Polygirou - Filippos Veroias 66-69

There was a minor upset when 13th ranked Polygirou (7-15) was edged at home by fifteenth ranked Filippos Veroias (7-15) 69-66 on Sunday. Filippos Veroias moved-up to thirteenth place in North, which they share with defeated Polygirou. Polygirou lost fourth consecutive game.
