The Regular Season in A1 is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds.

The game between third ranked Panathinaikos (12-7) and eighth ranked Panathlitikos (9-10) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Panathinaikos was defeated by Panathlitikos in a tough game in Thessaloniki 72-79. Panathlitikos made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Panathinaikos turnovers. American forward Sheila Boykin (188, college: LSU) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Her fellow American import power forward Khadijah Shumpert (188-93, college: N.Mexico) chipped in 22 points and 7 rebounds. Naturalized American guard Niki Avery (168-86, college: E.Kentucky, agency: Interperformances) produced 20 points for lost side. Panathlitikos moved-up to seventh place, which they share with PAOK. Panathinaikos lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with Dafni Agioy. Panathlitikos' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Thessaloniki to the arena Aris Thessal..
Undefeated leader Olympiacos delivered the nineteenth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 7th ranked PAOK (9-10) 80-44 in Thessaloniki. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Lykendra Johnson (185-89, college: Michigan St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. Styliani Kaltsidou contributed with 12 points and 7 assists for the winners. American forward Korinne Campbell (184-88, college: W.Virginia) answered with 17 points and 7 rebounds for PAOK. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. PAOK at the other side keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. They share it with Panathlitikos. Olympiacos will play against bottom-ranked Terpsithea (#12) in Glyfadas in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Ninth-ranked Panionios (7-12) made lots of trouble for fifth ranked Dafni Agioy (12-7) in Athens on Sunday. The visitors managed to secure only three-point victory 69-66.
