There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with defeat of the leader, derby games, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

Top ranked Kastoria (22-2) recorded its second loss in Lagadas on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by sixth ranked Ermis Lagkada (13-11) 93-82. It ended at the same time the 17-game winning streak of Kastoria. Ermis Lagkada moved-up to fifth place in North, which they share with Agriniou. Kastoria at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. Ermis Lagkada is looking forward to face Periko/Arhelaos (#12) in Perikos in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kastoria will play against Anatolia (#8) and is hoping to win this game.
Seventh-ranked Anatolia (12-12) made lots of trouble for third ranked Ermis Agias (18-6). The visitors managed to secure only three-point victory 61-58. However their fans expected much easier game. Ermis Agias have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in North, which they share with Karditsas. Anatolia at the other side keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Ermis Agias will play against HANTH (#13) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Anatolia will play against the league's leader Kastoria (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Athens: Peristeri GS (#1) and Papagou (#4). Peristeri GS (20-4) smashed visiting Papagou (15-9) by 19 points 72-53. Peristeri GS have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position in South with 20-4 record. Loser Papagou keeps the fourth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Ionikos Nikaias and Koropi. Peristeri GS will meet Tritonas S. (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Papagou will play against Panelefsiniakos (#7) and hope to secure a win.
The game in was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Karditsas (18-6) played at the court of 5th ranked Agriniou (13-11). Karditsas defeated Agriniou 74-60. Karditsas have a solid four-game winning streak. Newly promoted Karditsas maintains second position in North with 18-6 record having four points less than leader Kastoria, which they share with Ermis Agias. Agriniou at the other side keeps the fifth place with 11 games lost. Karditsas' next round opponent will be Charilaos TM (#9) and are hoping to win another game. Agriniou will play against Polygirou (#15) and hope to win that game.
Important game to mention about took place in Athens. Ninth ranked Nea Kifisia (12-12) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 12th ranked Kronos AD (9-15) 69-68 on Sunday evening. Nea Kifisia moved-up to eighth place in South, which they share with Mandraikos. Loser Kronos AD dropped to the thirteenth position with 15 games lost. Nea Kifisia will face Zografou (#11) in the next round. Kronos AD will play against KAP and hope to win that game.

Rest of the games of round 24 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
In North Xanthis defeated Polygirou in a road game 82-73. Evropi beat Stratoni at home 111-96. Filippos Veroias lost to Gefyra on the opponent's court 66-73. HANTH unfortunately lost to Charilaos TM in a home game 59-75. Periko/Arhelaos rolled over Aias Evosmou on the road 70-50.
In South Ergotelis defeated Koropi on its own court 72-69. Tritonas S. was beaten by Marousi in a road game 75-71. Ionikos Nikaias won against Mandraikos at home 71-65. Apollon Sm. unfortunately lost to Panerythraikos on the opponent's court 54-65. KAP recorded a loss to Proteas V. in a home game 66-75. Zografou crushed Panelefsiniakos on the road 88-64.

Group North
Polygirou - Xanthis 73-82

There was no surprise when 15th ranked Polygirou (7-17) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Xanthis (12-12) 82-73 on Sunday. Xanthis moved-up to seventh place in North, which they share with 3 other teams. Polygirou lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 17 games lost. Xanthis will face higher ranked Evropi (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Polygirou will play against Agriniou (#5) and hope to win that game.

Evropi - Stratoni 111-96

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Evropi (14-10) defeated at home 8th ranked Stratoni (12-12) 111-96 on Sunday.
