All-Star Game This
weekend wasn't ordinary in the routine of the season. On the 1st of March, the
male and female All-Star Game was organised by the Hungarian Federation. As
venue for the event Pecs was chosen. The was a selection, based on the
supporters' votes, of women and men players forming the League All Star Team.
They had to faced against the National Team on the court.
The National Team was conducted by Stojan Ivkovic, who was elected for the
head-coach of the National Team a few weeks ago as well. Laszlo Kalman could not
be on the court because of his injury, he was replaced by his teammate
Kornel Varadi (198-G-87, agency:
Laszlo
Vinko Services). Even Robert Gulyas missed the game, he got hurt on thursday
in the cup game against Kecskemet.
The game ended with the winning of the National Team 110-92 (32-22, 23-23,
24-20, 31-27).

East beat West - All-Star game in Arena Savaria
In the 17th Hungarian All-Star game beat the guest team of East the
team of West by 7 points! The 2 teams scored amazing 351 points, the
players showed the most beautiful movements, dunks, shoots,
crossovers on the court.
The starting fives got voted by the fans, the bench players were
elected by the two coaches of the teams.
Gergely Fodor (193-G-77) - who was voted as 3rd player on the
starting five of the team West, could not play because of his
injury.
MVP of the game was
Thomas Kelley (188-G-76, college:
Michigan St.), who scored 33 points and had also 13 assists!
