Outlook:
Very soft touch and good middle range shooter. A little bit too slow on his foot, but uses his size advantage close to the basket. Too often goes in the foul troubles. But you have to defend him as soon as he crosses the 3-point line. Very solid player.
Personal: Nicknamed "The Dunking Dutchman" ... Played for the Dutch National Team following his sophomore and junior seasons at Marist ... At. 7-foot-4, he is the tallest player in Indiana Pacer history.

Played for the Dutch national team for 12 years, beginning in 1967, at the age of 17 (the youngest ever).
Was captain of the Dutch national team for 8 years, with 164 caps.
Won Dutch championships in 1972 with Levi’s Flamingo and in 1978 with Parker/Elmex Leiden.
Co-founded the basketball agency Court Side in 1997, which has become one of the most prominent basketball agencies in the world.
Coordinator and process manager for a special school in Enschede, the Netherlands for future top athletes, in which several became professional soccer players for Dutch soccer eredivisie team FC Twente.
