ZZ Leiden - West-Brabant 75-73 ZZ Leiden outsmarted West-Brabant Giants moving up from the bottom of Eredivisie, 5-12. David Chiotti and Bubba Walther combined 42 points for the winners. Chiotti also grabbed 9 rebounds finishing the game without any missed shot. Patrick Pope shined in defeat with 28 points. West-Brabant Giants now have 9-10.
M.Magix - Landstede 89-83 Gerrit Brigitha (204-F/C-82, college: Cent.Michigan) stepped up for Matrixx Magix delivering 31 points and grabbing 5 rebounds for 32 minutes. Eric Nelson also was on high level collecting 17 points and 10 boards for the winning squad. Landstede got the most from Robby Bostain, 21 pts, 4 rebs and 4 as. Matrixx Magix 12-7 (third place), Landstede 8-12.
Amsterdam - Upstairs Weert 104-81 Easy one for Amsterdam, who remains on top of Eredivisie with 14 wins in 16 appearances. Stefan Wessels top-scored for the hosts with 18 points. Peter Van Paassen and CC Harrison drained 17 points apiece. Nick Stapleton answered with 14 points in defeat. His Weert fell on 6-12.

Randy Wiel was immediately appointed as manager of the basketballschool. A statement shows that it is more like a degradation. It is said that the team did not made enough progression under Wiel. According to Boardmember Vogelaar, 'Following a lot of discussion and thought, we made the decision that Randy will no longer coach the team,'
Wiel, who heard the news Friday, said this: 'Apparently there was a lot of comments from sponsors and they are also listening to the fans.

Amsterdam won all of their five games at the competition and deservedly claimed the prize. Israel did not manage to avenge the loss to Amsterdam at the group stage.

The teams traded baskets throughout the opening frame with neither side able to take over. The scoreboard read 19:19 after ten minutes of action. The second term was a defensive battle with the teams combining for just 24 points. Amsterdam managed to secure a 32:30 lead at the interval. Amsterdam jumped to the biggest lead of the game late in the third stanza when they were up by 11 points 47:36.
