Finals, Game 3: Leiden - Den Bosch 74-77 (0-3)

Den Bosch was too strong for Leiden once again. Visitors celebrated 74-77 victory on Saturday night for 3-0 lead in Eredivisie Finals. The format is best-of-seven and Den Bosch is now just one win away from the title. The first chance to take it Den Bosch will have next Thursday, when they will host Game Four.
The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 28-15. But Leiden won second period 24-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Den Bosch made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. It was a good game for international forward Stefan Wessels (203-F-84, agency: R.H.Consultancy) who led his team to a victory with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks. American point guard Frank Turner (178-88, college: Canisius, agency: Court Side) contributed with 12 points and 4 assists for the winners. Five Den Bosch players scored in double figures. Canadian forward Jevohn Shepherd (196-86, college: Michigan) answered with 21 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Seamus Boxley (201-82, college: Portland St., agency: Prossin Sports Management) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Leiden.
Leiden is the defending champion, but they are in very difficult situation now. They failed twice at home in the Finals and will need to win four straight games to defend the title. Den Bosch was Dutch champion last time in 2007.
