Apollon Limassol (Cyprus) announced this weekend the addition of Dutch center Robert Krabbendam (213-C-86, agency: Court Side, college: Virginia Tech) for the next campaign. It will be the first time Krabbendam has stepped on the court in more than a year as he last played with BC Kalev/Cramo Tallinn (Estonia) during the 2010-11 season, playing Estonian League: 9 games: 6.1ppg, 5.0rpg, FGP: 38.5%, FT: 75.0%; VTB League: 4 games: 6.5ppg, 2.8rpg, 1.5apg, FGP: 66.7%,FT: 50.0%; Baltic League: 6 games: 5.0ppg, 4.5rpg on average. Krabbendam played college basketball at Virginia Tech from 2004 to 2007 and then moved back to Holland to join MyGuide Amsterdam. After three years there he moved to Estonia to join BC Kalev/Cramo Tallinn, where he stayed until january 2011. He went back to Holland to recover of a knee injury. "I'm excited about getting back on the basketball court," Krabbendam said. "It has been over a year since I have played and I'm ready to get back to the game that I love."

Leiden swept the Finals 4-0 against Leeuwarden and won 2012/2013 Play-offs. The second team of the Regular Season posted a 65:59 win in Game 4 to become the Champions of the country.
