U17 HOLLAND - U17 BRAZIL 62-42

Holland celebrated very valuable 62-42 win over Brazil in Day Four of FIBA U17 World Championship in Amsterdam. Thanks to this win Holland improved to 3-1 in Group B and booked a ticket for the Quarterfinals. Brazil dropped to 0-4 with no chance to advance. Holland shined at the beginning and later after the breather to secure victory in this meeting. Quarters: 19-8, 10-17, 21-6, 12-11. Isabella Slim (181-SF-95) scored 19 points for her team and she also pulled down 13 rebounds. Slim was MVP of the game with valuation 25. Britt Zappeij (182-PF-95) had 12 points and 8 rebounds, while Laura Cornelius (173-PG-96) netted 11 pts. In Brazil, Monique Soares (187-PF-97) top-scored with 12 points and Carla Lucchini (165-PG-95) had 8 pts, plus 5 rebounds. Daphner Pezavento (190-C-95) was their third scorer with only 6 points. Holland will meet Spain on Wednesday in the battle for the second place in Group B. Brazil will play against also winless Turkey.

There were just three rounds played in Regular Season of Eredivisie and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in Eredivisie. The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Binnenland (1-1) in Utrecht on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Amazone (1-1) 78-73.
