Week 5 and 6 came early for Cangaroes and BC APOLLO2 as both teams started the weekend with games to either get a bit of a jump on other teams or fall behind more than anticipated. Cangaroes started off with a win over BC APOLLO2 on Friday night winning 86-68 on the road then won at home over the Red Giants 68-57. BC APOLLO2 was able to bounce back from their Friday game to win over Almonte at home 81-65 and stay at in good standings for the back to back games. In other games, Binnenland won over Almere 65-60 while De Hoppers cruised to a 93-81 victory over MSV/Zeemacht. De Groene Uilen and Tom Schonewille (190-G/F-88) keeps on rolling as they won on the road 69-53 over Z&Z2 to remain undefeated. The Orca's are another team that is making head way early as they won at home over Punch 80-71 and Rotterdam2 stole a victory over UBALL 59-53 to end week five. The standings remain the same as Orca's and Groene Uilen stay undefeated and the rest of the field is beginning to separate. Stay tuned for the upcoming week.

Prom.Divisie Round 2: CobraNova loses to Groningen - 23 hours ago

There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in Prom.Divisie. There was no lack of excitement in the last round games. The round ended with change at the leadership position and favorites losing the games. Round 2 most important game was a defeat of CobraNova (1-1). Josiah Heath (ex Leeuwarden) joins TLU/Kalev - 6 days ago

Tallinna Ulikool/Kalev (Alexela KML) agreed terms with 23-year old American power forward Josiah Heath (206-104kg-93, college: Canisius, agency: Inception Sports). He played last season at Aris Leeuwarden in Dutch Eredivisie. In 27 games he had 13.9ppg, 8.3rpg (#5 in the league) and 1.3spg. Yannick Franke (ex Bisons Loimaa) is a newcomer at Promitheas - 7 days ago

Newly promoted ASP Promitheas Patras (A1) added to their roster 20-year old Dutch international guard Yannick Franke (194-96). He played last season at Bisons Loimaa in Finnish 2nd Division. Franke managed to play in four leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 12 2nd Division games he recorded 7.5ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.1apg.
