Willem
Brandwijk
New England has arguably long been the most impressive region for Prep School basketball in the entire country. Today New England showed once again that is the case as New Englands top preparatory prospects took over the Sportszone Athletic Complex in Derry, NH to put on a once a year show, that would illustrate NE-Prep basketball is in very good hands now and in the future. This years talent pool was very impressive, with a mixed group of high major seniors and a heralded group of underclassmen, the action came in high volume.

Willem Brandwijk (204-PF-95): 67-220 SF/PW Holderness School,NH-2014
Our first time seeing this young man and like everyone else in the gym we came away extremely impressed. Though listed at 67, he is probably closer to 69 with longer arms, he probably has a 611-70 swing span, combine that with deceptive strength, some bounce, a down town stroke and high IQ and you have big time potential written all over it. A prototypical European Style game, mixed with a little American Mr. Brandwijk is a true pleasure to watch on the court, possessing the ability to stretch defenses with his deep stroke, he sets up his attack the rim abilities very well..the best part about this young man, is he does it all with a smile, you can tell he flat out loves the game..and we look forward to having him back in 2013
