#2. Second place goes to an international power forward Kourtney Treffers (186-94, currently plays in Italy). Treffers led Min.Battipaglia to a victory against the fifth-ranked S. La Spezia (5-2) 68-59 in the Italian A2 (12th division) on Saturday night.
She scored 13 points in 31 minutes.
Minibasket Battipaglia (5-2) is placed fourth in South group.
It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row.
It's Treffers' first season with the team.
Treffers belongs to league's top scorers and is ranked #2 with 18.3ppg.
This year her other stats are: 9.3rpg, 1.9spg, 2FGP: 59.5%(50-84) and FT: 58.1% in the seven games she played so far.
Treffers played for the Dutch national team in 2011.
#3. The Dutch player who performed third best last week abroad was an international power forward Naomi Halman (191-86, college: Cal-Irvine, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian A1. She could not help Umbertide (4-1) to beat Lucca (7-3). Halman's contribution was not very remarkable in Sunday's game.
She scored only 2 points.
Umbertide was crushed 66-45 on the road by the lower-ranked Lucca (#6).
They ended the series of four consecutive victories.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
Halman has relatively good stats this year: 10.6ppg, 4.6rpg, 1.2apg, 2FGP: 47.9% and FT: 58.3%.
She is also a member of the Dutch senior national team.
#4. Guard Myrthe Beld (183-89, agency: Regeneracom Sports, currently plays in Spain) managed to help Uni Girona in a victory against the ninth-ranked Hondarribia-Irun (2-4) 81-62 in the Spanish LFB last Sunday.
Beld scored only 2 points in 14 minutes.
Uni Girona (3-2) is placed fifth in the LFB.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
This year Beld's overall stats are: 3.6ppg, 1.6rpg, 2.2apg and 1.6spg in the five games.
She is also Dutch national team player.
#5. International forward Sharon Beld (184-88, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German DBBL was not able to help Oberhausen (1-7) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Beld's good performance the bottom-ranked Oberhausen was defeated 61-55 in Marburg by the much higher-ranked BC Pharmaserv (#4).
She was the second best scorer with 13 points. Beld also added 6 rebounds.
This season Beld has relatively solid stats: 11.8ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.1apg.

#6. Forward Marlou De Kleijn (182-92, also represented by Regeneracom Sports, currently plays in Spain) helped Cadi ICG Software win their game against the second-ranked Perfumerias Avenida (3-2) 80-74 in the Spanish LFB in Saturday night's game.
De Kleijn scored only 2 points in 10 minutes.
Cadi ICG Software (2-3) is placed eighth in the LFB.
But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen.
This year De Kleijn averages just 3.4ppg in the five games.
She is international player as she played for the Dutch senior team one years ago.

#1.Janelle Bekkering (181-SF-88, college: Gonzaga, currently plays in Belgium) led BBC Kangoeroes-Boom to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Sint Kateline Waver (5-3) 94-76 in the Belgian Division I in Saturday night's game.
She scored 13 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 25 minutes.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. BBC Kangoeroes-Boom (7-1) is placed second in the Division I.
It was her team's fifth consecutive victory in a row.
It's Bekkering's first season with the team.
Bekkering is currently second on the list of top scorers and also on the list of most steals (third place).
She has individually a very good year with high stats. Bekkering averages: 20.1ppg, 7.6rpg, 1.4apg and 2.6spg in the eight games she played so far.
She has a dual citizenship: Canadian and Dutch.

Jasmine Overbeeke and Charlotte van Kleef (190-C-96) came up for Loon Lions in the decisive moments to ice the victory. Tanya Broering (178-G-84) produced 18 points, while Charlotte van Kleef added 16 points in the win. Jill Bettonvil (188-F-92) responded with 20 points for Lekdetec. Lisanne de Jonge (180-F-95, college: St.Joseph's) had 12 points in the loss.
