We bring you last week's top performances from Dutchs who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an international guard Myrthe Beld (183-89, agency: Regeneracom Sports, currently plays in Spain). She led Argon Uni Girona to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Navarra Pamplona (3-4) crushing them 78-47 in the Spanish LFB in Saturday night's game. Beld scored 11 points and added 3 passes in a mere 18 minutes on the court. Uni Girona (5-2) is placed third in the LFB. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Beld's first season with the team. This year she averages: 4.6ppg, 1.4rpg, 2.3apg, 1.9spg, 2FGP: 29.6% and FT: 90.9% in the seven games she played so far. Beld is currently a member of the Dutch senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international guard Tanya Broering (178-84, currently plays in Spain). Broering contributed to Conquero's surprising victory against the fourth-ranked Caja Rural (4-4) 81-69 in the Spanish LFB on Friday night. She scored 8 points, made 6 passes and 4 steals in 29 minutes. Toyota Recreativo Conquero Huelva (2-5) is placed second from the bottom (#10) in the LFB. They ended the series of three consecutive loses. Broering belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #4 with 3.6apg. This year her other stats are: 10.0ppg, 3.6rpg, 2.0spg, 2FGP: 44.7% and FT: 77.8% in the five games. Basketball player is in the roster of the Dutch senior national team.

   #3. The Dutch player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Rianne De Roos (191-89, currently plays in Belgium). De Roos contributed to an easy victory against the tenth-ranked Tulikivi (2-8) crushing them 74-50 in the Belgian Division I in Sunday night's game. She recorded 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Belfius Namur Capitale (9-1) is placed first in the Division I. It was her team's ninth consecutive victory in a row. De Roos' overall stats this season are: 4.9ppg, 4.6rpg and FT: 27.3%. She is also a member of the Dutch senior national team.

   #4. Power forward Kourtney Treffers (186-94, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian A2 (12th division) could not help Min.Battipaglia (6-3) to beat Ragusa (10-0). Treffers was the second best scorer with 9 points. She also added 8 rebounds in 28 minutes. But the fifth-placed Min.Battipaglia lost 47-58 on the road to the leading Ragusa in the South group. It was Min.Battipaglia's first loss after four consecutive victories. Treffers belongs to league's top scorers and is ranked #6 with 17.1ppg. This year she also averages: 9.3rpg and 1.6spg in the nine games. Treffers used to play for the Dutch national team last year.

International swingman Jamailah Adams (180-93, currently plays in Germany) contributed to an easy victory against the third-ranked Gruner Stern Keltern (6-3) 80-64 in the German 2.Bundesliga (12th division) on Sunday night. She recorded 10 points. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group South. TV Saarlouis Royals (9-0) is placed first. So far her team won all nine games in the Regular Season. Adams has relatively good stats this season: 10.5ppg, 6.6rpg, 2.4apg and 2.0spg. She used to play for the Dutch national team last year.

   #6. Forward Sharon Beld (184-88, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German DBBL was not able to help Oberhausen (1-9) in their last game. Despite Beld's very good performance the bottom-ranked Oberhausen was badly defeated 76-60 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked (#7) Rotenburg/Scheessel. She was the top scorer with 19 points in 40 minutes. It was Oberhausen's ninth consecutive loss in a row. This year Beld has relatively solid stats: 12.9ppg, 3.9rpg and 1.1apg in the 10 games. She is international player as she played for the Dutch senior team one years ago.

   #7. International forward Marlou De Kleijn (182-92, also represented by Regeneracom Sports, currently plays in Spain) was not able to secure a victory for Cadi ICG Software (2-5) in their game against Hondarribia-Irun (4-4) in the Spanish LFB. De Kleijn cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. She scored only 3 points. Cadi ICG Software was defeated 77-71 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked Hondarribia-Irun (#5). This season De Kleijn averages just 3.1ppg. She used to play for the Dutch national team last year.

The list of other players, who all have Dutch passport but never been selected to any of Dutch national teams:

   #1. Janelle Bekkering (181-SF-88, college: Gonzaga, currently plays in Belgium) was the major contributor in a BBC Kangoeroes-Boom's victory against the closely-ranked Point Chaud (6-4) 80-76 in the Belgian Division I last Saturday. She recorded 14 points and grabbed 4 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Bekkering's second season in pro basketball. BBC Kangoeroes-Boom (9-1) is placed second in the Division I. It was her team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. Bekkering is ranked second on the list of the top scorers in the league and also on the list of most steals (fourth place). She has individually a very good season with high stats. Bekkering averages: 19.4ppg, 7.5rpg, 1.3apg and 2.3spg. She has a dual citizenship: Canadian and Dutch.

   #2. Daphne Esveldt (183-F-88, currently plays in Belgium), who plays in the Belgian Division I could not help Houthalen (9-4) to beat Basket Groot (6-4). Esveldt cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. She recorded only 2 points in 9 minutes on the court. Houthalen lost 77-81 on the road to the lower-ranked (#6) Basket Groot. This year Esveldt's overall stats are: 0.7ppg and 1.3rpg in the six games she played so far.

Former Binnenlandcoach Gert-jan van der Linden was announced as the new headcoach for Dutch Champion Van der Linden currently serves as the national coach for the wheelchair selection. He previously made deep playoff runs with Binnenland and DAS. Van der Linden has been away from regular basketball for some time but was rumoured to be amongst possible Remy de Wit succeedors as the national federation was looking for a new playcaller a little less then a year ago. Nothing like traveling some 7,000 miles to break out of a shooting slump. Kia Nurse (6'0''-G-96) won a gold medal at the FIBA AmeriCup 2017 Sunday with the Canadian national team but in six tournament games shot just 28.1 percent from the floor including 21.9 percent from 3-point land.
