24-year old guard Aaron Roye (185-G-88) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Amsterdam and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 13.
He had a double-double of 30 points and 13 rebounds, while his team was edged out by Leeuwarden (#5, 8-7) 84-80. Amsterdam maintains the 9th position in Dutch league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 14 games and recorded just one victory. In the team's last game Roye had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 7 attempts. It's his second year at Amsterdam and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Roye has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 18.1ppg. Roye is in league's top in assists (6th best: 4.5apg) and averages solid 41.6% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Darryl Webb (198-F-88, agency: Pro One Sports) of Zwolle. He is American forward in his first season at Zwolle. In the last game Webb recorded impressive double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he lead Zwolle to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Rotterdam (#10, 1-14) 97-67. Zwolle's 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 8-7 record is not bad and everything may still change. Webb is a newcomer at Zwolle and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.5ppg (#8). He also registered 9.9 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to Nick Oudendag (210-C/F-87) of M.Magixx (#3). Oudendag showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, eight rebounds and four assists in the last round. Despite Oudendag's great performance M.Magixx lost 87-91 to #4 ranked Groningen. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing M.Magixx needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 10 victories and 5 lost games. Oudendag has a very solid season. In 15 games in Holland he scored 10.9ppg. He also has 4.9rpg and FGP: 60.2%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Storm Warren (200-F-88) of Den Helder K. - 22 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Ross Bekkering (203-F-87) of Leiden - 23 points and 13 rebounds
6. Jerrell Williams (203-F-88) of Leeuwarden - 18 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Kenneth van Kempen (208-C-87) of Weert - 12 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists
8. Antwan Carter (198-C) of Weert - 19 points and 10 rebounds
9. Josh Magette (185-G-90) of Zwolle - 13 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists
10. Jamal Boykin (203-F-87) of Groningen - 17 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
