Prom.Divisie is at the halfway of the Regular Season and there are still another 13 rounds left.

The most exciting game of round 13 in the Prom.Divisie took place in Meppel. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Almonte (6-5) to eighth ranked Red Giants (6-5) 86-85 in the game for the fifth place. Red Giants have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Almonte. Red Giants is looking forward to face BC Apollo 2 (#11) in Amsterdam in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Almonte will play on the road against Binnenland (#8) in Barendrecht and is hoping to win this game.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Cangeroes (8-4) against fourteenth ranked Almere P. (3-9) on Saturday night. Visiting Cangeroes were defeated by Almere P. in a tough game in Almere 64-71. Almere P. moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Punch and UBALL. Cangeroes at the other side keep the third position with four games lost. Almere P. will play against higher ranked De Hoppers (#4) in Hoom in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Cangeroes will play on the road against the league's second-placed De Groene having rather not much hope for a victory.
Prom.Divisie top team - Orca's Urk (11-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Leiden 2 (5-7) 91-67. Orca's Urk have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Newly promoted Orca's Urk maintains first place with 11-1 record. Leiden 2 lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost. They share it with Rotterdam 2. Orca's Urk will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Leiden 2 will play against UBALL (#14) in Utrecht and hope to secure a win.

Other games in round 13 were not that significant. UBALL was beaten by De Hoppers on the road 72-64. Binnenland won against Punch on its own court 72-57. De Groene managed to outperform Rotterdam 2 in Groningen 70-63. MSV/Zeemacht managed to beat BC Apollo 2 at home 89-75.
