Host teams show no mercy winning all games.

Round 16 in Eredivisie means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Weert where host Weert (6-12) edged league's leader Leiden (14-4) 65-63 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Leiden. The hosts trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 22-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Weert forced 19 Leiden turnovers. American point guard Rahmon Fletcher (177-88, college: Green Bay, agency: Court Side) fired 22 points for the winners. The former international center Kenneth van Kempen (208-87, college: Ohio, agency: Court Side) chipped in 4 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. Canadian forward Ross Bekkering (203-87) produced 22 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Weert maintains eighth position with 6-12 record. Leiden at the other side dropped to the second place with four games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Den Bosch. Leiden will play next round against Amsterdam trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Weert will try to continue on its current victory against first ranked Den Bosch at home.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Den Bosch. First ranked Den Bosch faced 3rd ranked M.Magixx. Host Den Bosch (15-3) smashed guests from Nijmegen (11-7) 94-60. Andre Young contributed with 9 points and 12 assists for the winners. Canadian forward Henry Bekkering (198-85, college: E.Washington) replied with 20 points for M.Magixx.
