Mark Hill
American Mark Hill (180-G-87, agency: Three Eye Sports) had an amazing evening in the last round for Den Helder K. and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 16.
The 25-year old guard had the game-high 33 points adding three rebounds and three assists for Den Helder K. as his team lost the game against Groningen (#3, 11-6) 75-83. Den Helder K. moved-up to the 6th position in the Dutch Eredivisie. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Den Helder K. will need to avoid more loses keep or improve their 10-8 record. In the team's last game Hill had a remarkable seven three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be Den Helder K.'s top player in his first season with the team. Mark Hill averages this season 14.4ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 24-year old American guard Dejuan Wright (190-G-88, agency: Court Side) of league's best team Den Bosch. Wright impressed basketball fans with 26 points and 5 rebounds. Of course he lead Den Bosch to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked M.Magixx (#4, 11-7) 94-60. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Den Bosch consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. His team lost just three games this season, while they won 15 matches. Wright is a newcomer at Den Bosch and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Jamal Boykin (203-F-87) of Groningen (#3). Boykin scored 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds. He was a key player of Groningen, leading his team to a 83-75 win against the lower-ranked Den Helder K. (#6, 10-8). Groningen needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 11 victories and 6 lost games. Boykin has a very solid season. In 17 games in Holland he scored 12.9ppg. He also has 6.2rpg and FGP: 58.1%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Andre Young (175-G-90) of Den Bosch - 9 points, 4 rebounds and 12 assists
5. Pascal Balm (200-F-84) of Amsterdam - 26 points and 4 rebounds
6. Samme Givens (195-F) of Leeuwarden - 22 points and 7 rebounds
7. Hicham Kherrazi (195-F-88) of Leeuwarden - 17 points and 7 rebounds
8. Rahmon Fletcher (177-PG-88) of Weert - 22 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Ross Bekkering (203-F-87) of Leiden - 22 points and 8 rebounds
10. Daniel Jones (200-F-79) of Rotterdam - 13 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
