Lekdetec.nl and Dozy Den Helder made the best of it in a spectacular showdowin in Bemmel Saturdaynight that featured the return of U20 center Sharon Lammerink (189-C-93) at the highest level after her transfer from Eurosped Twente.

The Bemmel team had a great start of the new year, opening on a 14-4 run to make immediate impact, but after a timeout Dozy den Helder levelled the game and used threes by Maaike Klein (177-G-90) and Randell van der Lee to come back in the game. The double digit gap vanished as fast as it appeared and athetlic moves by Marianne van der Hoek made for the 22-20 score at the first interval. While DOZY continued their rhytm, paced by the excelling and exciting play of Maaike Klein , Lekdetec suffered a little slump so after twenty highly interesting minutes the guests were up at the break: 36-42.

After the break Lekdetec.nl upped the pace in the game. Karin Kuijt (175-G-90) directed her team in a higher gear and got usefull and surprising backup of Jacobine Klerx who had her highest output of the season so far, scoring nine points in a row at the start of the final quarter. At the beginning of the final stanza it was 61-62 but the rookie handed momentum to her team. Dozy had several chances to come back in the game but Lekdetec.nl managed to hold their counterparts off.
Anouk Biesters led the winners with 24 points and 10 rebounds, while SHaron Lammerink had 17 points and 9 rebounds. Jacobine Klerkx had 16 points and Karin Kuijt added 15 points and 6 assists .Lisanne de Jonge continued to establish herself as one of more versatile forwards of the league adding 10 points and 7 rebounds.

Maaike Klein led all scorers for Dozy hitting 30 points to go with 6 rebounds 5 steals and 5 assists. International Marianne van der Hoek had 22 points and 8 boards while Randell van der Lee chipped in with 17 points and 9 rebounds.

Eredivisie Round 3: Royal Eagles hand first loss to Loon Lions - 5 days ago
There were just three rounds played in Regular Season of Eredivisie and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. It was a good game for center Marleen Peek (194-0) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds.
