She had a double-double of 30 points and 14 rebounds, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Amazone (#8, 0-24) with 43-point margin 102-59. Den Helder maintains the 5th position in Dutch Eredivisie. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Den Helder will need more victories to improve their 13-9 record. In the team's last game Zappeij had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for her as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Britt Zappeij averages this season 7.6ppg and 5.7rpg.
Second best performed player last round was Danielle Pruijs (184-PF-97) of Amazone. She is a forward in her second season at Amazone. In the last game Pruijs recorded impressive double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Amazone lost that game 59-102 to the higher-ranked Den Helder (#5, 13-9). Amazone are still at the very bottom. 24 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Pruijs is well-known at Amazone and she already established her position as one of the team's leaders.
Third place about best performers goes to Irene Sanchez of league's second-best Grasshoppers. Sanchez showcased her all-around game by recording 14 points, five rebounds and five assists in the last round. She was a key player of Grasshoppers, leading her team to a 91-62 easy win against the lower-ranked Rotterdam (#7, 4-20). Grasshoppers needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 16 victories and 6 lost games. Sanchez has a very solid season. In 8 games in Holland she scored 6.1ppg.

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc. The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
