   #1. This week's number one is an international power forward Fieke Ligthart (184-90, currently plays in Germany). She was the major contributor in a SV Halle Lions' victory against the closely-ranked Heli Girls (9-3) 65-58 in the German DBBL in Saturday night's game. Ligthart scored 18 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 32 minutes on the court. It was his first game for SV Halle Lions this season. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Her team is placed second in the DBBL. It was SV Halle Lions' fifth consecutive victory in a row. It's Ligthart's first year with the team. She is currently a member of the Dutch senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international center Rianne De Roos (191-89, currently plays in Belgium). De Roos contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked R.Spirou Monceau (5-9) crushing them 78-39 in the Belgian Division I on Saturday night. She scored 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 26 minutes. Belfius Namur Capitale (12-2) is placed second in the Division I. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. This year De Roos averages: 4.6ppg, 4.1rpg, 2FGP: 46.8% and FT: 35.3% in the 14 games she played so far. She is in the roster of the Dutch senior national team.

   #3. The Dutch player who performed third best last week abroad was an international power forward Naomi Halman (191-86, college: Cal-Irvine, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian A1. Halman could not help one of league's weakest teams Umbertide (7-4) to beat Taranto (7-3). She recorded 6 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Umbertide was crushed 74-51 on the road by the higher-ranked Taranto (#4). Halman has relatively good stats this season: 10.1ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.2apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 45.7% and FT: 68.2%. She is also a member of the Dutch senior national team.

   #4. Guard Tanya Broering (178-84, currently plays in Spain) contributed to Conquero's victory against the closely-ranked Jopisa Burgos (5-7) 63-51 in the Spanish LFB last Saturday. Broering recorded 10 points and added 5 assists in 33 minutes. Toyota Recreativo Conquero Huelva (3-9) is placed second from the bottom (#10) in the LFB. They ended the series of four consecutive loses. Broering is currently sixth on the league's list of best passers and also on the list of most steals (third place). This year her overall stats are: 8.3ppg, 2.6rpg, 3.1apg and 2.3spg in the 10 games. Broering is also Dutch national team player.

Former international forward Marlou De Kleijn (182-92, agency: Regeneracom Sports, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a Cadi ICG Software's victory against the closely-ranked Gran Canaria (4-7) 78-67 in the Spanish LFB on Saturday night. She scored 8 points. Cadi ICG Software (6-6) is placed sixth in the LFB. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's De Kleijn's first season with the team. This year De Kleijn averages only 3.2ppg. She used to play for the Dutch national team two years ago.

Forward Sharon Beld (184-88, currently plays in Germany) managed to help evo New Basket Oberhausen in a victory against one of league's weakest teams Don Bosco Bamberg (2-10) crushing them 69-45 in the German DBBL in Saturday night's game. Beld scored 5 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 30 minutes. evo New Basket Oberhausen (3-9) is placed tenth in the DBBL. This year Beld has relatively solid stats: 11.5ppg, 3.9rpg, 1.3apg and 1.1spg in the 12 games. She is a former international player as she played for the Dutch senior team two years ago.

Janelle Bekkering (181-SF-88, college: Gonzaga, currently plays in Belgium) led BBC Kangoeroes-Boom to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Blue Cats (2-12) crushing them 96-58 in the Belgian Division I last Sunday. Bekkering scored 12 points. BBC Kangoeroes-Boom (13-1) is placed first in the Division I. It was her team's 11th consecutive victory in a row. It's Bekkering's first season with the team. Bekkering is ranked third on the list of the top scorers in the league and also on the list of most steals (fourth place). She has individually a very good season with high stats. Bekkering averages: 18.1ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.4apg and 2.5spg. She has a dual citizenship: Canadian and Dutch.

23-year old forward Camilla Neumann (181-F-94) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 3. She had a double-double of 24 points and 17 rebounds, while her team crushed CTO with 20-point margin 76-56. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. There were just three rounds played in Regular Season of Eredivisie and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. The most surprising game was a loss of Loon Lions (2-1) in Landsmeer on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by Royal Eagles (1-2) 60-57.
