Darryl Webb
American Darryl Webb (198-F-88, agency: Pro One Sports) had a very impressive game in the last round for Zwolle and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 20.
The 24-year old forward had a double-double of 22 points and eighteen rebounds, while his team beat Leeuwarden (#7, 11-11) 87-77. Zwolle is placed at 6th position in Dutch Eredivisie. Zwolle is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 12-11 record. Webb turned to be Zwolle's top player in his first season with the team. Indiana University of Pennsylvania graduate has very impressive stats this year. Webb leads league in rebounds with 9.8rpg. Webb is in league's top in and averages solid 52.2% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 24-year old American forward Storm Warren (200-F-88) of Den Helder K.. Warren impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he lead Den Helder K. to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Amsterdam (#10, 2-20) 88-66. This victory allowed Den Helder K. to move up to 5th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 12-11 record is not bad and everything may still change. Warren is a newcomer at Den Helder K. and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Antwan Carter (198-C, agency: Court Side) of Weert (#8). Carter scored 21 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Despite Carter's great performance Weert lost 67-88 to the higher-ranked Groningen (#3, 16-7). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Weert not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 14 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Carter could try to bring Weert's a little bit higher in the standings. Carter has individually a great season in Holland. After 21 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.2ppg (8th best) and rebounds with 8.7rpg (3rd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Anthony Miles (182-G-89) of Rotterdam - 22 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists
5. Bryquis Perine (190-G-88) of Weert - 27 points and 3 rebounds
6. Thijs Vermeulen (194-F-85) of M.Magixx - 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Marcel Aarts (213-C-83) of M.Magixx - 14 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Worthy de Jong (194-SG-88) of Leiden - 23 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists
9. Cameron Echols (203-F/C-81) of Rotterdam - 15 points and 10 rebounds
10. Stefan Wessels (203-F-84) of Den Bosch - 18 points and 3 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
