The game between Top Four teams took place in Utrecht. Third ranked host Cangeroes (11-5) defeated 4th placed MSV/Zeemacht (8-7) 84-70. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of MSV/Zeemacht. Cangeroes have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 11-5 record having just two points less than leader Orca's Urk. Newly promoted MSV/Zeemacht dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. Cangeroes are looking forward to face Red Giants (#4) in Meppel in the next round. MSV/Zeemacht will play at home against De Hoppers in Hoom and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Prom.Divisie top team - Orca's Urk (14-1) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixth ranked Rotterdam 2 (8-8) 80-71. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Rotterdam 2. Orca's Urk have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Newly promoted Orca's Urk maintains first place with 14-1 record. Rotterdam 2 at the other side dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. Orca's Urk will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Rotterdam 2 will play at home against UBALL (#14) in Utrecht and hopes to get back on the winning track.
14th ranked UBALL (3-13) was outscored at home by eighth ranked Binnenland (8-6) with the biggest margin this round 91-53 on Saturday night. Binnenland moved-up to fifth place, which they share with De Hoppers. UBALL lost their fifth game in a row. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. Binnenland will meet at home Almere P. (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. UBALL will play against Rotterdam 2 and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 17: Punch won against BC Apollo 2 on the opponent's court 66-62. De Hoppers managed to outperform Leiden 2 in a home game 82-75. De Groene managed to beat Almonte on the road 69-59. Almere P. was defeated by Red Giants on its own court 63-71.


Orca's Urk - Rotterdam 2 80-71

Prom.Divisie top team - Orca's Urk (14-1) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixth ranked Rotterdam 2 (8-8) 80-71. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Rotterdam 2. Orca's Urk have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. There was a minor upset in Amsterdam where 11th ranked BC Apollo 2 (4-11) was defeated by thirteenth ranked Punch (5-11) 66-62 on Saturday. Punch moved-up to eleventh place. BC Apollo 2 lost their seventh game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the twelfth position with 11 games lost. Punch will meet at home higher ranked Orca's Urk in the next round. BC Apollo 2 will play against Almonte (#10) in Eindhoven and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

De Hoppers - Leiden 2 82-75

Rather predictable result in Hoom where seventh ranked De Hoppers (8-6) defeated 9th ranked Leiden 2 (7-9) 82-75 on Saturday. De Hoppers moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Binnenland. Loser Leiden 2 keeps the ninth position with nine games lost. De Hoppers will meet MSV/Zeemacht (#7) on the road in the next round. Leiden 2 will play against the league's second-placed De Groene in Groningen and hope to secure a win.
