The game between third ranked Cangeroes (12-6) and fifth ranked Binnenland (10-6) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Cangeroes were defeated by Binnenland in Utrecht 56-71. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Cangeroes. Binnenland have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with De Hoppers. Cangeroes at the other side keep the third position with six games lost. Binnenland is looking forward to face De Hoppers (#4) in Hoom in the next round. Cangeroes will play on the road against Rotterdam 2 and are hoping to win this game.
Prom.Divisie top team - Orca's Urk (16-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Almonte (7-10) 81-61. Orca's Urk have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. Newly promoted Orca's Urk maintains first place with 16-1 record. Almonte at the other side dropped to the tenth position with ten games lost. Orca's Urk will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Almonte will play at home against UBALL (#14) in Utrecht and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Rotterdam 2 (9-9) and Almere P. (5-13), which took place in Almere. Higher ranked Rotterdam 2 lost to thirteenth ranked Almere P. in a road game 64-73 on Saturday. Almere P. moved-up to twelfth place. Loser Rotterdam 2 keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Almere P. will meet higher ranked Punch (#11) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rotterdam 2 will play against Cangeroes (#3) having rather not much hope for a victory.

Other games in round 19 were not that significant. MSV/Zeemacht was beaten by Leiden 2 on the road 72-63. De Hoppers won against Red Giants on its own court 82-66. Punch outscored UBALL in Delft 76-56. BC Apollo 2 recorded a loss to De Groene at home 56-70.



Leiden 2 - MSV/Zeemacht 72-63

There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Leiden 2 (8-10) beat at home 8th ranked MSV/Zeemacht (8-9) 72-63 on Saturday. Leiden 2 moved-up to ninth place. MSV/Zeemacht lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth position with nine games lost. Leiden 2 will meet higher ranked Red Giants (#6) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. MSV/Zeemacht will play against the league's second-placed De Groene having rather not much hope for a victory.

De Hoppers - Red Giants 82-66

Rather expected game when 6th ranked Red Giants (9-8) lost to fourth ranked De Hoppers (10-6) in Hoom 66-82 on Saturday. The victory was the third consecutive win for De Hoppers. They maintain fourth place with 10-6 record, which they share with Binnenland. Loser Red Giants keep the sixth position with eight games lost. De Hoppers will meet Binnenland (#5) in the next round. Red Giants will play against Leiden 2 and hope to secure a win.

Croatian Drago Pasalic (208-C/F-84, agency: Court Side) had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked Groningen, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 10.
