28-year old guard Robert Holcomb Faye (185-G-84) had a very impressive game in the last round for Leeuwarden and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 25.
He got a double-double of 20 points and 11 assists, while his team crushed M.Magixx (#8, 12-15) with 16-point margin 98-82. Leeuwarden is placed at 4th position in Dutch league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Leeuwarden will need more victories to improve their 15-12 record. Holcomb Faye turned to be Leeuwarden's top player in his first season with the team. Radford University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Holcomb Faye is league's best passer with 7.9apg. Holcomb Faye Worth to mention Holcomb Faye played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

Second best performed player last round was Wil Carter (203-F-88) of top-ranked Den Bosch. He is American forward in his first season at Den Bosch. In the last game Carter recorded impressive 21 points and 8 rebounds. Of course he lead Den Bosch to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Rotterdam (#10, 2-24) 84-64. Of course Den Bosch still keep the league's top spot. His team lost just four games this season, while they won 22 matches. Carter is a newcomer at Den Bosch and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 12.2ppg (#9). He also registered 5.6 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Shane Walker (208-F-87) of M.Magixx (#8). Walker scored 17 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Walker's great performance M.Magixx lost 82-98 to the higher-ranked Leeuwarden (#4, 15-12). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of M.Magixx ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 15 games, recording just twelve victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Walker could help M.Magixx to bring them higher in the standings. Walker has a very solid season. In 2 games in Holland he scored 15.0ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Robbie Sihota (198-F-87) of M.Magixx - 23 points and 12 rebounds
5. Michael Kingma (208-C-79) of Groningen - 13 points and 9 rebounds
6. Daniel Jones (200-F-79) of Rotterdam - 20 points and 6 rebounds
7. Samme Givens (195-F) of Leeuwarden - 15 points and 13 rebounds
8. Andre Young (175-G-90) of Den Bosch - 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists
9. Quincy Treffers (202-F-91) of Den Helder K. - 12 points and 9 rebounds
10. Ross Bekkering (203-F-87) of Leiden - 12 points and 11 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
