North All Stars - South All Stars 118:129

South All Stars beat North All Stars in Den Helder. Both teams showed an excellent show that finished with 129:118 result. Stefan Wessels (203-F-84, agency: R.H.Consultancy) was named MVP of the game.
South All Stars started the game with 39:24 rally. They could not however dominate the first half as the opponents replied with 37-24 surge in the second frame and reduced to 2 points at the halftime. The second half however belonged to the team from the South. The latter posted a 35-32 rally in the third period and finished the game with 31-25 in the last stanza.
Dejuan Wright (190-G-88, agency: Court Side, college: FIU) and Stefan Wessels top-scored for the winners with 19 points each. Ross Bekkering (203-F-87) notched 15, while Andre Young (175-G-90, college: Clemson) and Rahmon Fletcher (177-PG-88, agency: Court Side, college: Green Bay) delivered 14 each. Samme Givens (195-F, college: Drexel) and Storm Warren (200-F-88, college: LSU) answered with 18 points in the losing effort. Darryl Webb (198-F-88, agency: Pro One Sports, college: Indiana, PA) and Jason Dourisseau (196-G-83, college: Nebraska) followed them with 17 points apiece.

30-year old Dutch center Henk Norel (213-87) left Tecnyconta Zaragoza (Liga Endesa). Norel has played there for the last five years. In 29 Liga Endesa games in Spain he recorded 10.2ppg, 6.1rpg and 1.1apg. In 2009 Norel was drafted by Minnesota Timberwolves (NBA) in second round (47th overall). Rotterdam Challengers (Eredivisie) re-signed 32-year old former international swingman Ties Theeuwkens (191-85, agency: Court Side). He has played there for the last three seasons. In 24 Eredivisie games he averaged 8.4ppg, 3.3rpg and 2.0apg last season. Among other achievements Theeuwkens' team made it to the Eredivisie Semifinals for three years in a row (between 2012 and 2014). Defending champion Telenet BC Oostende (Euromillions League) tabbed 25-year old American forward Chase Fieler (203-93kg-92, college: FGCU). He has played for the last two years at Donar Groningen in Dutch Eredivisie. Fieler managed to play in three leagues last year (!!!). In 35 Eredivisie games he averaged 15.0ppg, 7.5rpg, 3.0apg, 1.5spg and 1.4bpg. He helped them to win the league title (twice) and the Supercup (also twice).
