Darryl Webb
24-year old forward Darryl Webb (198-F-88, agency: Pro One Sports) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Zwolle and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 28.
He had a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds, while his team edged out Weert (#8, 12-17) 92-90. Zwolle is placed at 4th position in Dutch league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Zwolle will need more victories to improve their 16-13 record. In the team's last game Webb had a remarkable 64.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Zwolle's top player in his first season with the team. Indiana University of Pennsylvania graduate has very impressive stats this year. Webb is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 9.3rpg) and averages solid 52.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Kenneth van Kempen (208-C-87, agency: Court Side) of Weert. He is former international center in his 3rd season at Weert. In the last game van Kempen recorded impressive double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Weert was edged by the higher-ranked Zwolle (#4, 16-13) 92-90. Weert is still second from the bottom in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 12-17 record. van Kempen is one of the most experienced players at Weert and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Worthy de Jong (194-SG-88, agency: R.H.Consultancy) of league's second-best Leiden. de Jong scored 22 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Leiden, leading his team to a 70-59 win against the lower-ranked Leeuwarden (#5, 16-14). Leiden is closer and closer to the top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 24-6 record is not that bad... de Jong has a very solid season. In 27 games in Holland he scored 13.2ppg. He also has 5.9rpg and FGP: 59.4%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Samme Givens (195-F) of Leeuwarden - 19 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists
5. Zack Novak (193-G-90) of Zwolle - 30 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists
6. Antwan Carter (198-C) of Weert - 15 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Rahmon Fletcher (177-PG-88) of Weert - 19 points and 6 assists
8. Tanner Smith (195-G-90) of Zwolle - 20 points and 4 rebounds
9. Jessey Voorn (193-SG-90) of Groningen - 11 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Sjors Besseling (198-F-85) of Weert - 21 points and 4 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
