Latvia outscore Netherlands in Cesis for the second time within the last two days. The Baltic State posted a 57:46 win due to the last period.

Latvia opened the game with 17-14 and dominated the first half. They added 13-11 in the second frame and led 30:25 at the halftime. Anda Eibele (170-G-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas) top-scored for the winners with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Liga Surkusa (194-C-91) notched 14. Zane Jakobsone (180-F-85, agency: Josep and Nicolas, college: Houston) and Ieva Kulite (191-C-88) netted 5 points apiece. Kuijt answered with 11 points in defeat and Rianne De Roos (191-C-89) brought 9. Kleijn scored 7, whilst L.Bettonvil and Klein delivered 5 apiece.

Latvian National team overcame Holland in the first friendly game between two sides. The hosts posted a 62:52 win on Saturday. Tomorrow the teams will face each other again.

Connecticut Sun waived 24-year old Dutch ex-international forward Chatilla Van Grinsven (190-89, college: St.Joseph's).
Van Grinsven just graduated from Saint Joseph's University and it is her first season in pro basketball. Her team won Atlantic 10 Tournament. Van Grinsven received All-Atlantic 10 1st Team award in 2013 at her college time.

Van Grinsven just graduated from Saint Joseph's University and it is her first season in pro basketball. Her team won Atlantic 10 Tournament. Van Grinsven received All-Atlantic 10 1st Team award in 2013 at her college time. Van Grinsven was also a member of Dutch international program for some years. She played for Dutch Senior National Team in 2010 and previously for U18 National Team between 2007 and 2008. Van Grinsven represented Holland at the European Championships U20 in Serbia two years ago. Her stats at that event were 8 games: 12.6ppg, Reb-3 (11.6rpg), 1.3apg, Blocks-5 (1.4bpg), FGP: 36.0%, 3PT: 33.3%, FT: 70.3%. Van Grinsven has played also in Belgium (BBC Kangoeroes-Boom).
