Coincidentally all hosts won their games.

The most exciting game of round 15 in the Eredivisie took place in Den Bosch. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 7th ranked Rotterdam (5-10) to fourth ranked Dukes UDB (8-7) 82-80 on Saturday evening. Dukes UDB made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. Dukes UDB had a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. 28 personal fouls committed by Rotterdam helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American guard Antwan Scott (188-92, college: Colorado St.) who led his team to a victory with 30 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. The former international forward Stefan Wessels (203-84) contributed with 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American guard La'Shard Anderson (185-89, college: Boise St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 10 assists for Rotterdam. Dukes UDB have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 8-7 record. Rotterdam at the other side keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. Dukes UDB are looking forward to face higher ranked Leiden (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rotterdam will play against Leeuwarden (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game for Groningen (14-1) which hosted in Groningen 3rd placed Leiden (9-6). First ranked Groningen had an easy win 101-77. It was a great evening for American swingman Jason Dourisseau (196-83, college: Nebraska) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Lance Jeter helped adding 15 points and 10 assists. The best for the losing side was the former international Rogier Jansen (188-84, agency: Court Side) with 20 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Groningen have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 14-1 record. Leiden at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. Groningen will play against league's second-placed Zwolle on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Leiden will play against Dukes UDB and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 15 Amsterdam was beaten by Zwolle on the road 67-58. Leeuwarden won against Weert on its own court 103-97.
The most impressive performance of 15th round was 25 points by George Marshall of Leeuwarden.

Zwolle - Amsterdam 67-58

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Zwolle (11-4) beat at home 5th ranked Amsterdam (6-9) 67-58. Zwolle dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Amsterdam's 20. They outrebounded Amsterdam 44-21 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American forward J.T. Yoho (198-93, college: Wright St., agency: Three Eye Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import center Clayton Vette (202-88, college: Winona St.) helped adding 16 points and 7 rebounds. Zwolle's coach Herman van den Belt allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Aaron Roye (184-88) with 23 points and 5 assists and forward Stefan Mulder (188-91) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Zwolle maintains second place with 11-4 record having just three points less than leader Groningen. Amsterdam lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with Leeuwarden. Zwolle will play against league's leader Groningen at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Amsterdam will play against Weert (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Leeuwarden - Weert 103-97

Rather expected game when 8th ranked Weert (1-14) lost on the road to sixth ranked Leeuwarden (6-9) 103-97. Weert was ahead by 7 points after three quarters before a 32-19 charge of Leeuwarden, which allowed them to win the game. They made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American point guard George Marshall (186-92, college: S.Dakota St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points. His fellow American import forward Denton Koon (203-92, college: Hofstra, agency: Court Side) helped adding 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was swingman Akeel Eduardo (193-93) with 18 points and 5 rebounds and guard Jeroen van Vugt (192-91) scored 17 points and 4 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Weert's coach Radenko Varagic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Groningen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Leiden's 30 and made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Leiden 36-23 including a 26-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Groningen players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Leiden's players.
