Eredivisie round 18 most important game was a victory of Rotterdam over 6th ranked Amsterdam 99-52 on Saturday night. The game without a history. Rotterdam led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-20 free shots (95.0 percent) during the game. Rotterdam outrebounded Amsterdam 47-30 including a 37-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for American guard Jermaine Marshall (193-90, college: Arizona St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 21 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Coen Stolk (195-97) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Aaron Roye (184-88) replied with 12 points for Amsterdam. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rotterdam have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Dukes UDB. Amsterdam at the other side keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost. Rotterdam is looking forward to face higher ranked Leiden (#3) at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Amsterdam will play against Dukes UDB in Den Bosch and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Groningen have an impressive 12-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 17-1 record. Dukes UDB lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Rotterdam. Groningen will play against Leeuwarden (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Dukes UDB will play against Amsterdam and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Yoho notched 25 points to lead the effort. Zwolle's coach Herman van den Belt felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 24 points and 5 rebounds by Jordan Gregory did not help to save the game for Leeuwarden. Zwolle maintains second position with 13-5 record having four points less than leader Groningen. Leeuwarden lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 12 games lost. Zwolle will meet bottom-ranked Weert (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Leeuwarden will play against the league's leader Groningen and hope to secure a win.

In the last game of round 18 bottom-ranked Weert was beaten by Leiden on the road 78-62.
