Jermaine
Marshall
26-year old guard Jermaine Marshall (193-G-90) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Rotterdam and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 18.
He had a double-double of 24 points and 21 rebounds, while his team outclassed Amsterdam (#6, 7-11) with 47-point margin 99-52. Rotterdam maintains the 5th position in Dutch league. Rotterdam is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 8-10 record. In the team's last game Marshall had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He turned to be Rotterdam's top player in his first season with the team. Arizona State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Marshall is in league's top in points (6th best: 16.7ppg) and rebounds (3rd best: 10.0rpg).

Second best performed player last round was Charles Mitchell (203-F, agency: Three Eye Sports) of Dukes UDB. He is American forward in his first season at Dukes UDB. In the last game Mitchell recorded impressive double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Dukes UDB lost that game 69-77 to the higher-ranked Groningen (#1, 17-1). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Dukes UDB still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 8-10 record. Mitchell is a newcomer at Dukes UDB and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Nick Oudendag (210-C-87) of league's second-best Zwolle. Oudendag showcased his all-around game by recording 16 points, ten rebounds and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Zwolle, leading his team to a 120-67 easy win against the lower-ranked Leeuwarden (#7, 6-12). Zwolle needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 13 victories and 5 lost games. Oudendag has a great season in Holland. After 18 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.7rpg (8th best). Oudendag attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Mohamed Kherrazi (200-F-90) of Leiden - 12 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists
5. J.T. Yoho (198-F-93) of Zwolle - 25 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists
6. Lance Jeter (191-PG-88) of Groningen - 15 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists
7. J.T. Tiller (188-G-88) of Zwolle - 10 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists
8. Clayton Vette (202-C-88) of Zwolle - 19 points and 8 rebounds
9. Coen Stolk (195-F-97) of Rotterdam - 22 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Jonathan Lee (188-PG-90) of Leiden - 11 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
