Jason
Dourisseau
33-year old swingman Jason Dourisseau (196-F/G-83) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Groningen and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 21.
He had the game-high 26 points adding nine rebounds and three assists for Groningen in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Rotterdam (#5, 8-13) with 26-point margin 82-56. It allowed Groningen to consolidate first place in the Dutch league. Groningen has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 20-1. In the team's last game Dourisseau had a remarkable 90.0% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Groningen and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Jason Dourisseau averages this season 13.2ppg and 5.3rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Denton Koon (203-F-92, agency: Court Side) of Leeuwarden. He is American forward in his first season at Leeuwarden. In the last game Koon recorded impressive double-double of 23 points and 15 rebounds. Of course he led Leeuwarden to another comfortable win 102-88 over Amsterdam (7-14) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Leeuwarden to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-14 record. Koon is a newcomer at Leeuwarden and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Leeuwarden's star - forward Meshack Lufile (203-PF). Lufile scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds. He was another key player of Leeuwarden, helping his team with a 102-88 easy win against Amsterdam (7-14). The chances of Leeuwarden not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 14 games, recording just seven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Lufile could try to bring Leeuwarden's a little bit higher in the standings. Lufile has a very solid season. In 21 games in Holland he scored 11.9ppg. He also has 6.4rpg and FGP: 55.3%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Jordan Gregory (188-G-92) of Leeuwarden - 29 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists
5. Nick Oudendag (210-C-87) of Zwolle - 11 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Marcel Aarts (213-C-83) of Den Bosch - 17 points and 12 rebounds
7. George Marshall (186-PG-92) of Leeuwarden - 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Charles Mitchell (203-F) of Den Bosch - 18 points and 11 rebounds
9. Mohamed Kherrazi (200-F-90) of Leiden - 12 points and 11 rebounds
10. Andrew Smith (206-F-92) of Groningen - 9 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
