Lance Jeter
28-year old point guard Lance Jeter (191-PG-88) had a great game in the last round for league's best team Groningen and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 24.
He had the game-high 23 points adding five rebounds and five assists for Groningen in his team's victory, helping them to beat Amsterdam (#7, 7-17) 81-73. It allowed Groningen to consolidate first place in the Dutch league. Groningen has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 22-2. In the team's last game Jeter had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He turned to be Groningen's top player in his first season with the team. University of Nebraska graduate has very impressive stats this year. Jeter is league's best passer with 6.4apg. Jeter is in league's top in and averages solid 54.8% FGP and 43.2% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Greg Mays (203-F-93, agency: Court Side) of Rotterdam. He is American forward in his first season at Rotterdam. In the last game Mays recorded impressive 31 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course he led Rotterdam to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Weert (#8, 3-21) 83-61. Rotterdam's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 11-13 record. Mays is one of the most experienced players at Rotterdam and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Clayton Vette (202-C-88) of league's second-best Zwolle. Vette showcased his all-around game by recording 15 points, fifteen rebounds (!!!) and five assists in the last round. He was a key player of Zwolle, leading his team to a 80-65 easy win against #4 ranked Den Bosch in a game of the week. Zwolle needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 18 victories and 6 lost games. Vette has a great season in Holland. After 23 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.8ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 8.7rpg (4th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Meshack Lufile (203-PF) of Leeuwarden - 21 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists
